I think Cryptopia will be back. I don't know how they handle the loss. If they can eat it all by themselves or will there be a loss on customers. I have all my Ultracoins there too

I doubt UTC was on the list of coins the hackers stole considering its only traded on cryptopia and the volume is extremely low

No blockchain explorer (PressTab down for almost 2 months), no exchange available (altilly has no volume for UTC), no news about "new" UTC, many had lost their UTC, etc.....
Well, I am clairvoyant.
Seems UTC is just done.
And don't give the excuse that there are so many miners on UTC, because lately, there is minimun hash on network.

PressTab has vaporized - but my thanks to him for the last code iteration (lest we not forget Alenevaa also) that has us functioning to date There will be no block explorer until the new Ultracoin arises like the eternal PHOENIX Beyond my control - but I will report when things are fully tested and ready for general consumption. No incredibly - Ultracoin is not done - its soon to have its finest hour. Every dog has his day. Cheers - usukan

Seems that we have still over 500 kh/s. So one 1060 is 10 kh/s Its quite a lot for your minimum hash. Is anyone tried Altilly? Valpe No blockchain explorer (PressTab down for almost 2 months), no exchange available (altilly has no volume for UTC), no news about "new" UTC, many had lost their UTC, etc.....

This Cryptopia thing seems very serious. I doubt they will come back from this............... https://elementus.io/blog/cryptopia-hack-transparency/Valpe - I never tried Altilly - but chatted a bit with their founder - seems a straight up guy. Cheers - usukan .

No coin swap, if you control the private keys/wallet.dat file you still have 2000 UTC... although they aren't worth much at this point in time

We'll see what happens. I've seen many coins come back from worse situation than we are in. I lost (?) almost 300K UTC at Cryptopia, but life goes on.

This is completely nuts! The exchange is still being drained 15 days after the first attack - and folk are still depositing from mining? https://elementus.io/blog/cryptopia-hacker-strikes-again-15-days-later/The worrying thing here for any holders of UTC on the platform is: It appears likely that the company only had one set of backup keys (negligence) and these were copied and then deleted in the hack. The hacker may have total control over all their wallets. If UTC wallets were stored in the same place - nobody but the hackers have control of UTC or all other crypto stored on the platform. Nobody but the hackers can give back the UTC! Almost zero chance of return of funds. Cheers - usukan

I truly doubt they were so stupid to have only one set of backup keys.

Any news on PressTab? Without a block explorer we can't see if large amounts of funds of UTC had been moved lately. This is completely nuts! I truly doubt they were so stupid to have only one set of backup keys.
Same, I also doubt with the amount of volume they had they left the majority in hot wallets. We still are only aware that ETH wallets were compromised, there is zero evidence that BTC or any other alts were. Most of the real non-bot volume for PHR was on Cryptopia and cryptopia's PHR wallet hasn't been touched: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/phr/address.dws?41291.htm
