I have a box running Server 2008.  It's an i7 with three PCIe x16 slots, and I'd like to take advantage of at least one of those!  Problem is, I installed the 5850, only barely got it running by pointing the Windows installer to the driver, and the Stream SDK doesn't recognize an Open CL compatible video card in the system!  Argh!

Any tips?  I notice that AMD doesn't have official support for Server 2008, but if any of you have gotten it working, well, it'd be awesome to know how.  Don't suggest switching from Server 2008 either, because I can't.  I use the box for a gameserver as well, and I can't take it down for a long enough period to reinstall the OS and the server files, etc.  I'll just build a new computer if it comes down to that.

I tried to mine on Windows Server 2003 but ATI Stream SDK refused to work.
Later I found that it was installed on a flash drive instead of system disk :) But I don't think that was the reason.

Lol, ok...

I think I'm probably out of luck on this one, unfortunately.  Sad
