Looks like am going to end up moving off http://cryptomining.farm/ if it continues to  have problems have proxy running as said and also seems to keep disconnecting and just now no deadline error.

also, feel free to join us http://pool.burstcoining.com:8124

Already was mining their last week didn't have any problem with connection however payments seems a lot less compared to other pools. I mined for a week and was getting around 300 to 800 max burst a day and gone to mining farm seem to be making around 1200 to 1400 burst per day. So I dont get how on payments are totally different when mining with same amount of plots

If you are considering using BURST's new crowdfunding feature, and even if you aren't, I would like to point to this case:

Quote
ATDevelopmentFund
The purpose of this case is to provide funding to help extend the technical work and general product development and marketing for AT inside the burst platform.

The ATDevFund is asking for 1,000,000 BURST, and already +20% is collected (among them my lottery winnings, as I promised...).

I'm not pointing to this case because I'd like some devs being richer or being able to launch scam coin.

Remember that BURST was launched without any pre-mine, without any IPO/ICO - so damn many people are working for free with this coins to, quoting that article, being: "once again, one step ahead of the competition". BURST didn't make any promises to collect a single damn BTC. The devs have just worked and worked - and shown result after result after result.

People have not only worked for free but also but their own money into this project, and we are many that made some decent money off that. That's the reason I donated a, for some, kinda large sum tonight, and for some, just peanuts.

The sum that you are donating really doesn't matter. It's the act of donating that is more important, showing those working hard for free that you really appreciate what they are doing. And will be doing.

As someone with a bit of insight on what is coming up, I know you and the market will love it when it is completed by these awesome guys. So please considering a donation to the ATDevelopmentFund and filling that 1mill cap!

While doing so, we'll also make sure that the crowdfunding case is working properly, a news on its own.

Thumbs up!
Hope the Crowdfunding page gets into the new Release so it's not so tricky anymore to get onto the right page! For now it's a too high barrier to even get to the CF. Also we need a hide/ignore button for the fundings which are not interesting, tests or spam.  For now Crowdfunding and Lotteries are more used than the marketplace and assets.

What happend actually to burstcoin.io? We need that secure online wallet more then ever. Does someone know wer uray is? It's the next crowdfunding case Wink

I don't think there is more use than assets.

Normally 10k + /day spent on assets.

Burst 1.2.2

https://mega.co.nz/#!z8BT0BCZ!Z1MXYcVJrObMcx2M_zjHPbsMKQLxGKVqQYqh1u1etWY
sha256: 2e1a7f2d74c584e46b16b40ac8889101e44039ebcaa95a0c1b71abc9eb83a37b

All users must update by block 67000 (about 9 days from now)

This is a bugfix release mainly for ATs, and also loosens restrictions on ecblock info.

Just a reminder: block 67,000 is approaching pretty fast! Many have updated to 1.2.2 as planned Cheesy That's great, but unfortunately we know that uray has not updated his pool wallets.

We are trying to fix that, firstly by getting in touch with uray. If anyone have contact details (not fb, linkedin, gmail, git, the-known-ones) but something he actually checks even when off line, please email securely to burst@countermail.com. If you want, we'll keep you as source protected.

Thanks!

Do you have any proxies configured? Are localhost connections permitted on your pc?
I presume your wallet is running.

@daWallet

User friendliness will be achieved eventually, it is very important.

@Crowetic

Since the upgrade to burst.ga I now getting errors from my miners

"Unable to commit nonce to burst.ga:8124 (The remote server returned the error: 400 bad request)"

I'm using the runaurufu miner.

Did the port change or is this a dns issue or expected due to upgrade process?

Thank you, vbcs for doing such a great job in creating a ATcrowdfunding.

I got some questions and suggestions:

1. "Funding" is not a "Donation", so I expect to pay back a funded project. There is no terms set yet of how much interest, what time frame to pay back. Sure, an interest of -100% is a donation!

2. How can I see WHO has pledged so far? Which api can I use for that? So that I can follow up with these people by private messages.

3. Why would somebody fund a project, when they "hide" behind a Creator BURST account? We need a recommendation system.

4. There is no Withdraw or Edit function, e.g. if I want to change the description. Maybe we suggest to use a description link to be free of edit function and withdraw is the a normal expire.

5. I assume that this will pickup and more crowdfunding cases will emerge. Maybe a list of Funding cases and a click for more information would be better. E.g., ordered by highest % already funded and ordered by blocks to go, so that projects soon to be due and nearly reached project's target will be seen first to get easier funded.

6. How can we promote our funding case? Right now it is a title and a description. We would need a "link" to the promoted funding case, like we have an asset-id.

(I followed your asking, and pledged towards the development!)

1. Are you sure you need to stop the pool when you update the wallet???

You just install the new wallet, copy over the old database and conf/nxt.properties. Restart the wallet at that moment will have no interrupt at all.
Besides, if it has no wallet at the moment it just moves on and do the job after the next block!

Can you confirm that?

2. It is suggested NOT TO CHANGE /conf/nxt-default.properties but to add a file /conf/nxt.properties with all the changes you want to make. This file will overwrite any previous settings in nxt-default.properities.
That makes it much easier when you upgrade your wallet next time!

I believe you guys & gals might be interested in the following tweet!!!   Wink

https://twitter.com/SDLerner/status/565200018840485888

this is a very sophisticated post

checking exchanges situations believe we had drop below 190 sat where lots of at least 200K BURST were sold, amused by this.. to be completely honest, probably missed it.. checking what is the situations right now with the price , might absorb a lot again

100K for about 195 .... let see if I can be fast enough.. sold DRK for profit to put in BURST last time

network is holding around 10 Peta which is about average, but you got interest (attention rather) of one of the smartest people in this space (above tweet)

someone got hold of tera bytes of cheap storage and cashing out every now and so often.. it does not matter as peeps who otherwise would buy WD or Seagate 200$ drives can scoop BURST for 1/2

My ATcrowdfunding case:

I added a ATcrowdfunding case to add a new hard disk to my system.
While it is a test of crowdfunding in general, it would be nice if I could find enough funds to add a new hard disk thou. ;-)

In case you do not know how to participate:

1. download from http://burstcoin.info/d/cf/ the newest and best atcrowdfund.html

2. put this file into your wallet at: (burst_1.2.2)/html/ui/atcrwdfund.html

3. go to your web site: http://localhost:8125/atcrowdfund.html

4. Look for "Add4TBhdd" with the short, but precise description: "To add another 4 TB hard disk"

5. Click at the button: [Pledge]

6. Adjust the amount to the maximum you can afford  Grin

7. Enter your password

8. Click [Send]

Optional:
Open your wallet and see that your Bursts are transferred.
Reload the page http://localhost:8125/atcrowdfund.html to see that your pledge is now updated.

some debugging going on with burst.ga at the moment, getting the code accustomed to the larger miner count. No worries everything is fine, may be a few random outages. We're on it.

So what is your one to mine on then what reward recipient do i set to? as you have http://burst.ga:8124/  http://pool.burstcoining.com:8124/ ? these different pools you own and was http://pool.burstcoining.com:8124/ beta and .ga is main ?

I'll suggest you do this - but support further development (ATDevelopmentFund). And nothing else....
