I'm gonna give this a try, is there a one-click install available?

Not for now, but the community is here if you'll find some trouble! Look at the how-to in the first page!

it have no matter whether you use what cpus, cpu only affects on the how many time you will spent on creating plots., and after finish creating plots, it will determined buy your hdd's capacity, and it will have nothing to do with asic miners at all.
for how many money you will get from this coin,,i think it defined by how many times you will spend until you will find a coin by your 240GB,,it is too small for now, and you can wait the pools out,,

I didn't say I had 240 GB of free space, I said I had a bunch of 160 and 80 gb laptop drives I could plug in and use.  But I'd have to run a separate instance of mining for each hard drive, correct?

Can someone summarize the important points of this coin for me in a single post?  I've been reading the topic and getting a bit here and a bit there.

you can link plot files from different dirves into your mining folder ... search for 'mklink' and you will find related posts ...

I got a 3TB Hard-Drive, in terms of mining how does this compare to others? Also considering the fact that OS's use a max of 2TB and need the remaining 1 TB to be unlocked, will Burst utilise the remaining 1 TB?

With my laptop and 571GB found 3 in 4 days, so i think it's good! Difficulty is rising!

If you want to see if they overlap, go to https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap and paste the plots name!

We need more people mining this! All of you should spread this thread! I've opened one in my native language! Do the same if you can and add infos in your sign! If difficulty raises and more people join, this coin will fly more than now! Also tweet about it!!

I mentioned earlier today that I was going to do a redesign of the Burst UI + a new logo. Well now I've completed both of those, take a look at the screenshots below (Please let me know if there is anything I've left out or if there's anything odd in the design) :

http://i57.tinypic.com/xekakm.png

http://i60.tinypic.com/2s1oi2v.png

http://i59.tinypic.com/2zptb3k.png

http://i59.tinypic.com/fo14pe.png

Here is the link to the files for the UI : https://github.com/Wulfcastle/Burst-UI

How to Install :

1. Download this repo to your PC
2. Navigate to the root of your Burst folder, e.g. C:\Burst\burst_1.0.0
3. Copy and Paste the "html" folder from this repo over the existing "html" folder in your Burst root folder, overwriting previous files.

Note :

This redesign only changes the CSS & HTML files that are used on the front-end of the NRS server that runs Burst, no back-end code has been edited, nor has any of the core functionality been edited in any way.

Just looking for some feedback, what do you guys think about this logo?

I love it!

i like it too! thanks for sharing

Wow! this is gorgeuos compared to the original Burst interface. Also @burstcoin, any chance to change the original logo to something else like this, the current logo looks like sh!t it must be said.

When I download the wallet (Windows 7 64 bit OS), and unpack it with WinZip, I get a list of 382 files.  Which one opens up the wallet and puts a wallet icon on my desktop or at least in the programs list from the start button of windows?

I know this is a whole new wallet, but at least the creator could take the time to attend to the little details such as this before releasing it!

+1, i don't like the current logo also, it's color is ugly,,,just make the logo simple as it can, look at the bitcoin, nxtcoin, darkcoin, blackcoin, their log are all simple, current log is to complicate, and the "B"in this wallet is cool, i also like it!

It does, but only to a minor extent. 8190 overlapping nonces are ~2GB of space wasted. Thats all.

You can also keep it. Its just a few nonces at the end that are wasted space.

You can view it like this:
Every nonce has a deadline for every block. The miner has to find the smallest one and submit it. In your case it first found 2611592, submitted it and kept searching. Later it found 1863506.

Your miner runs perfectly  Smiley

I have make this conf, but i think it's not good! Find only 4 in 4 days?

Can someone tell me if my conf is good or not?

Thanks

With my laptop and 571GB found 3 in 4 days, so i think it's good! Difficulty is rising!

If you want to see if they overlap, go to https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap and paste the plots name!

wich is the better: the bigger or lower disk seeks per Scoop??

Lower! If you run it off an SSD this dosnt matter, if you use HDDs its the lower the better.
