90GB plots in the pool and don't have a share. It seems that the pool is again for BURST whales  500GB is not enough for solo-mining. 90GB is not enough for pool. Something is going wrong with that coin, it's the first week and it's imposible to mine it with normal PC. You will need at last 2 Terabytes of Harddrive space it is because the hardware is to cheap. 2TB per week,may be. But i can't play vs peolpe, which work in website hosting companies or datacenters. They use their mining hardware with no invest. The pool had to be THE BALANCE. Now it's useless in that form. ......are you serious? people in the company won't use these resource, because mining is p2p, company will monitor the flow always time., if you worried about this, every one just not mine any coin,, why don't you worry about miners who work in AMD or nvidia if you mine gpu based?, why don't worried about miners who worked in cloud computer companies like azure when you mine the cpu based,,.. according to your say, every one in these company can use endless resources for free.. Yea, not to mention the space used to mine is completely wasted space as far as a data center is concerned, so I don't think anyone in a data center will do this, maybe with a single server they aren't using, but I highly doubt that a huge data center would risk all of their usual profit plotting space for a new altcoin. |

Wow. Its a madhouse in here. I think we need to clarify a few things here. First of all, unless some expert wants to spend a huge amount of time coding some ridiculously complex security measures for the pool then we just plain flat out need to generate new plots that are keyed to the pool address that is given to you when you do the ridiculously hard task of pasting your BURST address in the box and clicking the button. Once you have that address all you do is generate plots wit the same instructions but you use the pool address. If you are new here than I would highly recommend reading through the thread. Almost anything you could ask has already been answered. Its pretty easy to figure out the amount in circulation right now. On the pool site http://198.199.103.145:8121/click the "network state" link. "Height" is the current block number. There has been no reward reduction yet (it reduces 5% a month and we haven't been mining a month yet) so the current amount is simply that number multiplied by 10,000. as of the time of this writing we are on block 3260 so 3260*10,000= 32,600,000 As far as the pool situation I have some advice. START GENERATING PLOTS USING THE POOL ADDRESS. It has taken me almost a week to fill 6 TB of plots and I have been using 3 servers to do it. The amount of "hash" power is going to grow and eventually even my 6 TB will not find blocks. So I can either start generating plots for the pool (which I am) or miss out on a huge amount of BURST. I am creating new plots on a different 2tb drive and when it is full I will start replacing my solomining plots with pool plots. It is just the natural way these things go and I would advise all of you to do the same. I want to say one more thing about the pool. The dev worked hard to get a pool running and all I see is complaints about how it works. You really need to think about what goes into creating a new type of pool from scratch. This isn't a small feat. Honestly I think the dev is a genius. He is PROTECTING you by having you NOT use your personal address. I would think that would be obvious. Onward |

Well...I step in to this coin two days ago,and mined two blocks so far.
I din't read all this topic,but I'm suprised how much people are crying about this coin.
In any crypto,you need to invest,and does no matter which coin it is...For POS coins you need to buy coins,to generate new coins.For pow/pos coins you need to buy gpu's,or rent some miners,and after pow phase,you need to buy coins,to get more profit.For pow coins you need to have gpu's,asics or powerfull processors to mine something.
If you want to get money,you need to work,or invest.
I see real revolution in this coin,because this is a real innovation in world of cryptos.May be much more like bitcoins.Because this is realy new experience of mining,and may be this coin will push creators of hdd's,to make more powerfull hardware like it was with other coins.I have mined my first block two days ago with only 200 GB plot size,and with current diff,it is still posible to mine some blocks.I have bought two 2 TB HDD's,and one 3 TB HDD for usb3,and I want to make plot files on my two mining rigs and laptop,and may be I will buy server in future.
This coin looks fine,and I will make how to in russian language,and video too.I think,this coin need to have own forum in future.And please,do not cry,only because you didn't noticed this coin when it was released.I would like to say Thanks to dev and all people who have suported this coin.In next two days you will see russian how to,and traslation for this coin.
