I cannot get the wallet to work, correctly.  I downloaded the latest one, waited for the blockchain to download, then tried to send myself burst and it keeps saying the address is invalid.  I tried the faucets and they say the same thing.  I tried the faucet with someone else's address and it works fine.  I copied and pasted the address from the upper left corner of the wallet, pasted it into the search box right below it and it didn't recognize it, either.

So I reformatted the hard drive and started over.  Same thing, my burst address, BURST-36YL-3H6M-5EV4-AJ5ME, is not recognized.

Is there something missing from the directions at http://burstcoin.info/wallet.html ?  I am stuck on step four trying to get my account ID and send some burst to it.

I just sent ya 3, send 1 burst to someone else and it should work then as you account appears on the blockchain

If you get third arm or second ghmmm, will you need one more brain to operate em'?
No, you don't need to install Java on it.

will burst still have a chance to rising up?

If any coin in the Crypto has a chance of getting out of this rut that all coins are in at the moment its Burst.

Bitcoin, Burst, Doge, Litecoin.

Those are the only 4 that a safe bets for the long term - say 6 months or more.

Burst will have at least touched 3000 Satoshi by Christmas.
- with current inflation at 3% per day, there will be 291 million more BURST in circulation by Christmas (more then 400 mil in total).

Anyone confirm it's just http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io having funky payments or did 10 times the disk space just get added to the network? My payments have gone down by about 10 times.

crypto currency poker:

https://nitrogensports.eu/
https://pokershibes.com/
https://sealswithclubs.eu/ (are you coming back seals?)

BURST: http://burstcoin.info/ Mining for everyone, ASIC resistant, wide fair distribution, many features, greener POW, Smart Contracts (Automatic Transactions)

A big article at coindesk or other news site would be nice.  Grin Is someone here able to pull the right strings?

Your 3% inflation is actually 2,6% now and is less every block. The moment growth in difficulty and community is bigger than the inflation rate Burst will simply burst.  Smiley

edit: And at Christmas the daily inflation rate will be 0,6% ...

If you are mining solo please post here how many block did you got in last 24h and how many TB you have and what miner is used. Thx in advance for your reply.

i'm trying it with 6tb, for now nothing and more than 24 are passed

25TB, 3 blocks....

Which miner? How many instances? Linux or Win? Thx for your reply.

Windows Java miner, one instance per PC (10.5GB and 14.5GB) and Windows.

But I recommend using Linux because there is a miner coded in C. Java miner is buggy lately with crashes and freezing.

Yes, its true. I have 24 GB RAM and 4-5 instances of java miner. It slows down computer and hangs from time to time.

I have around 16TB and have hit 2 blocks in 30 hours.

i created 2 plots and when i enter them in range checker i get No overlapping nonces is this okay?? no overlap
here are file names

Your results (assuming all plots are completed):
No overlapping nonces

Totals:
0 nonces overlap (0 KB)

u never know. Christmas is still a very long way (in crypto term). Developer is smart enough to make PoC , i am sure he is smart enough to implement something new once everything settle down.

Developer for the past few weeks is busy with the basic stuff like pool v2 , GPU plotter , new NXT version , etc. He can't build something new without having a solid base first.

it's ok, but in future:

315339184730955748_6553600_6553600_4096

{6553600,6553601,...,13107199} = 6553600

I'm a little annoyed, so I'm going to start a CLD fud campaign.

It doesn't seem right to me that CLD should be rising because it is only a parasite to true innovation, I.E. BURST.

They are severely limiting our profitability, and whoever you miners are that are just mining and dumping... You are just ridiculous. You are why BURST can't get off of the ground.

You can hold it and make more money. Do people know this? No investor wants to buy burst because they know miners are just dumping it for whatever they can get anyway. At this rate, might as well just wait till we are at 30 satoshis.

Do they even plan to store data on the nodes? They don't have a concept how that should work, at least I cant find it.

Looks like a payment system for their traditional cloud only.
