I still have not spent any bitcoins in a long time. I have tried to get Restoration Hardware to accept BTC...so far have been unsuccessful.
I am also in the process of trying to get my dentist to start accepting BTC. I am going to get veneers, so it would be cool if he accepted BTC.
Other than that, I am just staying put with what I have for the time being...riding the waves up and down. Mainly down lately obviously...

I use it where ever i can: - Pay rent through localbitcoins - Pay for flight if i can - Change for cash if fiat is not around - Use it instead of fiat in cases where fiat is not very efficient or as easy (which happens alot) - gain access to cash when banks are closed or to transfer to friends as cash rather than bank transfers The more i use it the more the bitcoin ecosystem is turning |

Rather than taking an exchange rate hit to 'replace it as you spend it' wouldn't it make more sense to just buy it as you need it, so buy the amount you need and spend it instantly so there is less exchange rate risk and you still support the system?
