I want to request a feature for advanced users of BitcoinJ. As the app recommends, I store only small amounts of Bitcoin on my Android phone, leaving most in a paper wallet. The problem is now that there is no way to send unconfirmed transactions, but from my perspective when I sweep a paper wallet, or send Bitcoins from my computer, that transaction is from a green address. For this reason, there's no reason to wait for confirmation on these transactions.

I would like to ask the developer(s) of this app to add a setting to "allow sending without confirmation" similar to Armory and Blockchain.info. This would be very helpful.

One other feature I'd like to request, although it is less important IMHO, is the ability to broadcast a raw transaction, preferably by scanning a QR code.

My two cents!

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What do you mean by "send unconfirmed transaction"? When you sign a transaction, it's always unconfirmed before it gets confirmed by a miner. This is not any different with Bitcoin Wallet.

The app can scan and relay raw transactions from QR code, if the transaction is relevant to your wallet.

I'm sorry, what I meant is that I want to be able to send a transaction using unconfirmed inputs. For example if I send funds from my offline computer (by signing offline and broadcasting the transaction from my online wallet) I want the option to spend them instantly instead of waiting for confirmation.

EDIT: Note in parenthesis added to clarify for poster below.

... ? Offline, send ? Not possible ... if you want send a transaction, you MUST connect to others nodes with the "validate wallet" (validate when you are connected to nodes to retrieve merkles summary and refresh the amount of wallet).

I sign the transaction on the offline computer and send the transaction from my online phone.
