Any idea what error code -1 means and what could be causing this?

I'm trying to refill my keypool and then back up my wallet.dat so first I call walletpassphrase followed by keypoolrefill and then I get the error

{ [Error: CWallet::GenerateNewKey() : AddKey failed] code: -1 }

Not quite sure what could be causing this since the same unlock pattern works for send on this same wallet.

Gavin documents the error codes here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=33122.0) but unfortunately left out -1.

Do you unlock the wallet with some time argument, i.e. 600?

That will give you only 5 seconds. Might be a bit short?

Thanks, I'll try it for longer.

On a related note. If I unlock my wallet for say 30min and then make a copy of my wallet in that time without re locking it, will the copy be encrypted?
