If anything this means good news. If people are willing to throw that much hash at a coin (individually) then they have high expectations.

edit: Thanks unlock for making the logo!

or they're hoping for a big pump and dump....

Always the first few blocks that give insane reward compared to any other blocks

You guys think the dev got the first 30 blocks?

I think so.

else if (nHeight <= 30)
   nSubsidy = 1259 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 100)
        nSubsidy = 759 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 300)
        nSubsidy = 659 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 500)
        nSubsidy = 400 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 700)
        nSubsidy = 300 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 900)
        nSubsidy = 200 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 1100)
        nSubsidy = 120 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 1300)
        nSubsidy = 80 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 1500)
        nSubsidy = 50 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 1700)
        nSubsidy = 80 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 1900)
        nSubsidy = 120 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 2100)
        nSubsidy = 220 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 2300)
        nSubsidy = 400 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 2500)
        nSubsidy = 700 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 2799)
        nSubsidy = 1000 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight < (int) CUTOFF_POW_BLOCK)
        nSubsidy = 1000 * COIN;

Also fyi the distribution curve is wrong.

Don't get me wrong, if you like gambling then this is a perfect pump & dump coin.. Just be sure to dump before the DEV does.

This post sums it up:
I think I can clarify:

PHASE 1: Dev instamines high reward blocks

PHASE 2: Pools mine low reward blocks while dev dumps

PHASE 3: All miners now have a chance to mine high reward blocks of now worthless coins

The coins are not going to be available on the main exchanges until at least the end of POW.

Better to have some orphan blocks than fork 10 times. Everything has been smooth since launch.

Don't worry there isn't going to be a relaunch because it is not needed. Everything has been smooth since launch, no forks no stalls.

R O F L

GRAPH with block reward is really educational...

I think I can clarify:

PHASE 1: Dev instamines high reward blocks

PHASE 2: Pools mine low reward blocks while dev dumps

PHASE 3: All miners now have a chance to mine high reward blocks of now worthless coins

You are spot on with your analysis.

This is just another shitcoin designed to make the dev some quick btc.

Right now the reward is very low, but when it goes up again (in a couple hours) It is a chance for the snoozers to join in on the party. BlackToken is here to stay. Coin mixer will provide the full end to end anonymity and BLKT -> VISA, will build value because the coin will actually be used for something.

Which coin did you fork to make this?
