@joelao95 I like the new theme for the website, but maybe you should restrict access to all pages and redirect them to the counter if you wanted to keep the suspence up Wink
Thanks for the heads up.

I have a couple of hundred magicoins in my wallet now and have a question regarding the staking of them. I have to make a payment to myself with the amount of coins in my wallet to receive the rewards. Do I have to repeat the payment every time I receive a reward or will the keep coming in on their own?
Maintaining a couple of hundred coins in one transaction will give good results, but it's tedious to do this every time you get reward. It's fine if you put all coins (say a couple of hundred, not big amount) in one transaction after undergoing a few times of staking.

Would it be possible not to redirect links to the miners? Haha

New MAGI's motto?

Hmmm... well the mantra I have been using for a while now is:-

"XMG Magi the coin of the future, here today"

and another one to consider is:-

"With XMG you have to work smart, not hard"

I must get around to having that T-shirt printed Cheesy

So just to be very clear, since English is not my native language and I'm confused by this post :
After sending them to yourself staking reward comes in every time on his own.

These are the steps I think need to be done
1. Make a payment to myself
2. Wait for reward to come in

And that's it? I was under the impression that after you get a reward you have to make a new payment to yourself before the staking of those coins started again.

I was looking in the thread for a good explanation about staking. But we lost a lot of posts during the bitcointalk crash! (I thought we had already more than 300 pages) So best thing is that Joe, Spexx or Wolf make a new post about how staking works.

Remember this one: mining Magi is how Satoshi meant mining to be for BTC in 2009!

Welcome on board. Nice to be there. I'd look forward to be part of MAGI.

Version with Bill Gates( motto''s issue) was perfect. Bill is legendary, automatically my brain related MAGI as massive and succesful project.

You can get an idea of the POS on the first post on the page.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg8307440#msg8307440

My understanding is that it is basically ensuring you have coins that have matured and able to earn interest. The interest is based on how much XMG is mined and then compared against how much coins you have that have matured. You'll need to move coins between addresses to renew their age and start staking again when your coins go past the peak matured age i.e, the 10% mentioned in the post past day 5 should be sent to new address to start staking again.

Hope this helps!

In the end, I joined a pool...and since then, I've mined four blocks worth 55 XMG, and I've earned a touch over 6 XMG, before fees...Not the most encouraging of numbers..
