Thanks huryu, nice words and welcome in our Magical Magi community!
Thank you 111magic! The community is so friendly around here, I think I've picked the right coin Thanks hefty, I will try this one let's see how it goes. Is that a laptop processor?. My son has a i7-4510U @ 2 GHz which only gives out 31.33 Kh/s maximum and that is when it is not overheating. It is not up to the job of running the miner flat out and gets too hot. The performance of the miner on laptop processors is somewhat disappointing compared to the performance on their desktop counterparts.
Use my miners for Windows - they are the fastest you can get and I have a suite of software to support them too. Links in the OP.
Yes, this is a laptop processor. Yeah I've read about that before, about how laptops are not that good for mining. But I didn't know it was THAT bad haha. Well, so far I haven't noticed a big heat increase, but I think I better check the temperature, right? I will try your miner, I think I haven't tested this one. Thank you Spexx

Something is definitely wrong there, you should be getting 50+ KH/sec. Try my GUI https://github.com/JasonXtreme/MagiGUI and run the Wolf V2 i7 miner, should up your hashrate. The guys doing 5000+ KH/s are either GPU mining or have clusters of PCs doing the work (IT admins have the power, I guess). I wish those would stick to bitcoin or sth Thanks for the quick reply Jason. I forgot to say in my post that my pc is running windows, this link is for Linux, right? But I've checked the folders in your link and I think it's the same miner I'm using. The one I have here says "wolf-m7m-cpuminer-V2-x64-0204". I've also tried switching between all minerd.exe versions in the pack, with no improvements in hashrate. My processor is an i7-4500U, I thought it would be much faster than that :/ Anyways, since I work full time on my pc, I'll let it mining even if I can't improve the hashrate, because I've been reading this thread for a long time and I really liked this coin No no, the link is for Windows (both 32 and 64 bit versions of the various miners are included, courtesy of Spexx and Wolf) It's interesting, I myself am running a i7-3610QM @ 2.3GHz, which is of course in my laptop, and I get about 65-85 KH/s, depending on the room temperature With the Wolf i7 miner (the basic version). Perhaps the 4500U is a downsized version? Can't say I'd know P.S. You can find the compiled app for widows x64 under the releases tab in the link.

Is it correct that thè walletaddresses on the exchanges are not visible in the blockchain? In that case I have some extra work regarding the Proof of Interest. I think this is a correct statement Thanks for your respons. This message is for those who sent their XMG exchange wallet for the Proof of Interest campaign. Send me your own XMG walletaddress asap by PM! One of the rules for the Proof in Interest campaign was: exchange walletaddresses are not allowed to join. Thanks I need to add a deadline for this! Send correct walletaddress before April 13 2015 20:00 CET!!!

Don't know either. But there is one other thing I know. Magi started a week ago with value of +- 4k Satoshi. Whatsever happens, if the value stays stable above that price, its ok. As I told before with the good developments, active community etc the value will grow. I like it better if it's grows step by step.

Hi you all, Is there a possibility to limit the mining power at the pools or? I have my mining power brought back to about 900khs 8 hours a day, but it would be better and nicer to just get a limit on a pool, so i can leave my miners open and not mining to much

Good idea but what if someone with much power mine on wallet (without pool)? XMG Mining reward depending on difficulty, is for me the best solution. For long term, big miners will leave mine XMG...
