Great! Now I will be able to mine some XMG while I'm at college with my smartphone. I will try this and let you know if I experience issues. One thing that I have been looking forward to is the ability to stake XMG within your Android device, but I guess that this should take some time before it could be accomplished. Definitely a good time to buy more cheap Magi. Received great feedback for the Magi android miner! Thanks all! I have downloaded this app and will give it a try. Are there any special instructions to go with it? I mean, is it necessary to input any particular settings?? Sorry guys for being Dumb here. I have downloaded the ANdroid Miner, I got 8 core phone and want to mine, But I need some command help to set it up, what would be protocal to use in android miner and what would be user name, will it be pool username or wallet address

Hello Magi community !
It is possible to use Minerd with a priority option ? -E Efficiency & -T Thread option are useless...
Idle option or Priority would be great.
use "start /low minerd.exe" in command line. Thx you

Bittrex wallet is working fine. it just take sometime to show up. wait for at least 20min. The outputs say 'not yet redeemed', does that have any significance? Double check your trex wallet address - I noticed that my address mas missing from there when they brought it back online so I generated a new one

For some reason my wallet is minting coins very frequently and yet for some reason my total balance is not going up? This seems very odd and does anyone have any suggestion on how I would correct this issue? I'm on Windows 10 with Magi Core version v1.4.4.1 (64-bit)

If I create a new address, will this address be wiped out?

FYI, I sent one lone XMG to my wallet at Bittrex and I received it very quickly. Almost seems that "Not yet redeemed" is pointing to something on wither end.

"Not yet redeemed" is equivalent to "unspent". It just means that amount hasn't been spent (i.e. used in another transaction) by the recipient (Bittrex in this case) yet.

Dev node 104.128.225.215 seems to be offline...
I just found out that the server was put in maintenance because the vendor is moving their physical servers. 45.35.251.73 is the another node that runs m-chain.info.

Joe, can you pls provide nodes we should have in our magi.conf file? Should we state "conect" or "node"?
Thanks!

Joe, can you pls provide nodes we should have in our magi.conf file? Should we state "conect" or "node"?
Thanks!
Here is an example magi.conf that contains two official nodes: http://m-core.org/bin/example-conf/magi.confaddnode=104.128.225.215 addnode=45.35.251.73
Since the new wallet works with "addnode", actually the above two aren't necessary to be specified in the conf anymore. 104.128.225.215 is under maintenance and will be back online without changing the address.

Good going community. I updated the chain and wallet had a question though: how long does it take to stake. My wallet keeps saying i dont have enough weight and last time it was open for a week at least. Cheers Best to have at least 50-100 coins in your wallet to stake (better >1000) - also if your coins have been in your wallet for too long they may be too old to stake (weight reduces with age), if you send your coins back to yourself you'll reset the age. From then it should take around 8 hours. The more blocks you have to stake, the higher chance you have of a block being picked which is why I recommend around 1000XMG. Hope that helps. Nice. i had no idea if they are too old they dont stake. Thats a great tip. I have sent it to a new address. Lets see how it goes Cheers for your help Your welcome - by the way - you can send the coins back to your own address - you dont need to make a new one - also the stakesplitthreshold and stakecombinethreshold should help with keeping the block age young. When i send to an address within the wallet, it doesnt send it at all. It just pays a small fee but it doesnt move the coins. So i resolved by creating a new wallet.dat file and sending it back and forth. If there is a better way to do this, please do let me know. Moving forward, it seems it is still not staking despite the move. I have mPoS enabled and it has been a few days. Not sure what else to do. I recall it was staking in the past, but now it says "not enough weight" and i have +4K in there... Any help would be appreciated.

Also now PoS is disabled by default unless specifying the following in magi.conf: I'm trying to make some pages that are informative to the mining and staking. I will post them once ready.
