Ive seen spikes of 100MH and someone bragging on here about using a botnet, but its legal.  Lmao.  Pretty sure that was a few months ago.

Unfortunately scummy, but legal.... If they want to waste the money to buy hashrate, then more power to them I guess.

Not legal according to minerclaims terms of service: https://xmg.minerclaim.net/index.php?page=tac
Quote
Botnets are not welcome. Accounts with a large amount of miners connecting from different IPs may be suspended without prior notice. If we are uncertian then an investigation will be opened and the user will be notified via their configured e-mail address. If we do not receive a response your account may be suspended.
Multiple accounts controlled by one person may be considered as a botnet and an investigation will be opened, see above point.
Not sure if it's enforce.. looks like it might not be.

I am working a xmg (https://magipool.raspi-ninja.com/) pool.. what would the max hash rate be before a penalty is applied?
The standard in other speed regulated pools is 250k
That is pretty generous.

Hashrates !

So much for enforcing limits  no wonder this coin ends up forking everywhere

https://ibb.co/hgyWbJ

minerclaim.net, right now.....

Top 15, lowest one is at 500kH/s, top one nearly 15MH !!!

Can minerclaim be regulated any way or have its right to pooling revoked?

Sure, we'll fine them $5000/day until the problem is solved? Maybe throw the owner in jail for 6 months? Would this fill your need for justice?  Roll Eyes

Or, you could just choose not to mine there if you don't like how they run things. Seriously, will you fucking crybabies ever stop? You want rules, crypto is probably not for you.

LOL
Its not about mining there or not mining there.
Its about a community at least attempting to stick by simple guides and respecting each other.
There are literally 1000s of other coins the idiots can go screw if they want to.

Joe, please if you can, re-engineer this coin to to mineable from the wallet only.
There seem to be quite a few coins out there that are achieving that now ( i know they will be cracked - eventually) (Zettelkasten is doing well so far)
J

(As far as i can see NH dont have m7m algo, and MMRs max rig is only 300khs.)

This isn't entirely true. This just means each is solo mining. Honestly, what I think you want is a private pool. That way at least all the PIs are on the same page. Otherwise it would take eons to see profit.

I think.

Yes, realized that too after i set it up. Do i really have to set up my own pool? I don't even know how to set something like this up.  Huh

But as it seems it would be better to switch. On minerclaim my coins aren't confirmed for more than 12 hours now. Can someone recommend a good and reliable pool for XMG?

The 12 hours is probably due to the 520 confirmations XMG requires...

You are the owner of that pool. Of course you are saying that this pool is the best pool. Let me wait for a few suggestions from the other members. Cheesy

It never took 12 hours usually.

I lost 22 coins on minerclaim pool. Can Minerclaim.net help me to sort that out somehow? A few coins would be ok, but not all coins from the last days...  Cheesy

Ask your lost coins from Vitalik_Pedik! Few months ago he start some kind of attack on the coin network.
Losing, what causes it to lose? whether it is stealing, or getting lost, try to speak clearly.

They are just "gone". On my minerclaim overview stands "all time earnings: 34,10726013740 coins". But my wallet shows only 12 Coins. My autopayment is on 10 coins. So i am missing 22 coins. I never received that coins and they aren't on my minerclaim as well. They just disappered.

Hi, Did you try running checkwallet and repairwallet on your wallet - that's usually the issue after re-syncing the chain

Also, check your balance in a block explorer to see if the blocks you generated were actually committed to the blockchain - there have been a few forked chains lately, if you were mining on a forked chain then the XMG would not have been legitimate

For that reason i set up my wallet on a newly fresh installed windows system with the newest wallet. Still nope. Coins are gone and so my hopes.

I have no idea how that works and i have to admit that i am new to mining etc. How can i check the block etc.?

Did you have a backed-up wallet.dat file from your previous wallet? without that you have no way of getting your coins back

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/

Only shows my 3 payouts AFTER the chaos. The 22 Coins aren't listed.

Ps: I used of course my wallet.dat. Only a freh installed windows to be sure that i have the newest wallet version and right blockchain.

Hmmm, There is a rule of 250k/h per user in pools but non of them follow it!
Isn't possible to ban high hashrate users? Or they don't like to do it?

This rule varies from pool to pool. Every pool does it like they want it. PoM is doing it, but they also advertise they're limit on every site. Other pools don't block/bann high hashrate users.

That's true.

After fork I made 1.2 XMG with my 100k hashrate but now I can get 0.2 xmg per day.

I got a feeling the number is wrong, my wallet is showing 217MH total. Still, it seems more like someone trying to make a point than an actual miner. Or maybe seeing if the hack will still work?

just dropped down to 21MH
