Every program in crypto is a virus. Be safe and don't connect it to any computer/network that you're using sensitive data on.

Not exactly a virus, the latest antivirus uses analytics and tries to predict programs that have similar effects viruses as viruses. Viruses are used to create Botnets, large clusters of computers to compute and crack algorithms. Well with that last bit you should understand why miners are predicted as possible viruses, since they do the same thing as botnets, connect commuters together to compute. I doubt it contains a virus, my antivirus didn't flag it up and tests has helped on many coin projects, he should be a reliable source.

why do you think that?

Nevermind. The blockchain has moved on Smiley
It's just that block 914 took about 16 minutes and the average blocktime is 3 minutes.
I know this can (and does) happen in crypto since it's pure luck to find a block. But with the new stratum miner just released and the surge in hashpower I thought it was strange.

Wow finally back!
It's really nice to see how this community helps each other.
Joe despite the enormous pressure you have delivered a very good job. I hope that many people appreciate XMG
Magicoin XMG has received very much attention.
Many positive but also some negative.
Usually by competitors who also see XMG as a major competitor. Competition is good but we (Magicoin community) will never attack other crypto enthusiasts.
Ultimately, we all have the same goal.
If mining is stable the next can be deployed.
I look forward to it.

All looks healthy. I haven't seen a consistent community working together on the progress of a coin in a long time...

I feel like this is 2013 all over again like the Primecoin days.

Nonce did supply us with the latest working stratum miner,
but they have a very big chunk of the network so for that nova would be better to spread the hash around. You decide...

Goldmin.es, is the pool you have online? I'm trying to connect with a stratum proxy but just getting a timeout. Using stratum+tcp://goldmin.es:9874

Come on, goldmin.es is a joke now :-P
I was able to connect thru proxy, miner was even getting work, but it didn't show on pool's workers page.

I wonder there is hidden GPU mine out there.

goldmin.es is not a joke. why do you say that? i left magi on my pool for testing purposes, so that the cpuminer could be compiled faster. ill fix my pool right now, and in the mean time remove it from being an option.

think twice before you type.

Men all the pools that run XMG are good. Why? Because the run XMG!!
Spread the miners. And read the latest post of 111magic.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg8865025#msg8865025

FYI: According Cryptoine XMG is the winner of the day!
