My 3 tubes are hashing  at  196 to 210 GH/S per board for 2.45TH/S total at stock clock, with 1 stock fan.

Am I just lucky, or is it something I've done differently?

Well, I'm not sure, so here are my observations.

1. I think assembly technique is important. I applied the thermal pads to the heat sinks first, then made sure there were no air bubbles under the pads. Then I used an impact driver to tighten the screws in a random pattern so as to equalize board contact with the heat sink. I have the fan blowing "in", and faced the handles "out" as some others recommended.

2. I used high quality power supplies providing at least 250watts per blade.

3. I placed the tubes on a wire rack shelf providing airflow to all four sides.

4. I'm using Slush's pool with bfgminer 4.7 as a proxy. I know it should work fine without the proxy, but I hesitate to mess with success. Wink

You are using one or two pcie power connector per board ?

Only one for now. It's near impossible to find power supplies with 8 independent pcies, e.g. separate cables all the way back to the ps.

It should be better even just using a single feed with two connectors. I believe it should reduce the stress on the connectors, long term.

What's the difference between round two and three? Shipping date?

Shipping date and price.
I thought round 2 was already 7.9?

Well after a week in the DC, I can clearly state these tubes SUCK!! total junk!! Unreliable heat MONSTERS!!
Out of 40 boards 10 are severely under performing and I had 1 start on fire today. Now to see IF the RMA process is as botched as the sales process.  Angry Angry Angry

sad to see that.

I added second fans right off the top my set of 2  runs great. overclocked and all

they need two fans  and very good psu's.  they will run very nice with this fan added

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A460TK6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

or this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Delta-AFB1212VHE-DC-Brushless-12V-120mm-x-120mm-x-38mm-BOX-OF-18-UNITS-/161101929210?pt=US_Computer_Case_Fans&hash=item25826c5afa

one with the silverstone and the other with the delta

here is the silverstone delta

here is the
delta silverstone

these fans move a lot of air and with the stock fan  pushing you are really moving air.

notice my handles do not turn in they face out.  this helps to cool more.
Not to disagree with anyones instruction or build or design.

I tested  quite a bit and handles turned out keep more hot air out of the chip area. the second fan really helped me with hashing I get a constant 1690-1705 for 2 units set on freq 280.  I would say that the second fan is a gain of 80-100 hash for 2 units  combined.
I have a few deltas if someone wants them. I can fit 3 in a medium flat rate box.  LOUD

What's your inflow/outflow temps? I have a silverstone as you suggested and another fan I had sitting around going now. Removed those noisy stock fans. Outflow temps dropped 2-3C with dual fan over stock so I am hoping all is good.

EDIT: My outflow temp is about 45C; gets up to 60C on the metal casing that exposed to the outside. God only knows the chip/inside temp.

tldr, they wouldnt have needed two fans if you'd set the original fan into a pull configuration in the first place.

You probably ordered 4th which in CN time is past same time dispatch. The units then have to get to HK where they get accumulated awaiting DHL. Because of the 3 day national holiday, they've probably gone out on the 9th or waiting for the 10th. Once he gets the info, he will THEN email you. There is nothing fishy here.

the point is, i always got an answer in less than a day from "Pb"
asked for tracking on friday
and got the promise on saturday that i will get it on sunday.
since then, no more answers. not even a "no". nothing. ignoring all mails

i think the mail account was compromised and all my coins are gone now!

I ordered on the 4th in China & got payment confirmed a few hours later. They should have shipped before the holiday. Last order I got tracking the day they arrived. I would expect that they will be arriving today hopefully, as they didn't yesterday. However I have not gotten a reply from pb or the email over the last 2 days when I requested tracking.

I just received 6 of 11 boxes.  The other 5 had a customs delay (controllers separate box).  So great to get them already assembled.  Don't have them running yet but will update once they are.

Unfortunately one of the boxes I didn't receive has all of the cables in it.  So won't be running until tomorrow at the earliest.  DHL is following up because apparently they went missing in the US somewhere on their way to me.

I put two of them together.  It wasn't hard.
Thermal pads are not attached, they come in sheets - 4 sheets per miner.  You lay the sheet onto the heatsink  then place the board on top and screw it down.  It's as easy as making a sandwich.
Washers are to raise the fan shield so it doesn't contact the blades of the fan.

Not sure what you mean by "safe to throw" but I would think that would be safer than trying to catch one.

Thats not what he asked at all. He was asking about how they ship the preassembled ones, and what the preassembled ones comes like.
