A 0% fee pool like eligius or P2Pool. Why pay a fee?

Depends on how you wish to get paid... There are pools with different payout models for pooled mining and of course there is SOLO mining if you're feeling lucky Wink

Slush's Pool is always a good option I like to recommend. Smaller pool, has a fee, but it's very reliable from what I've found.

I have tried all the larger pools and am using a new pool right now. Give BAN pool a try. It's paying PPS every 2 hours steady. https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com

You will find the pool thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=722202.0

Currently we're at p2pool and advocate it, great community and no less payouts than any other.  0% fee, and it's a distributed network so there's no main entity controlling it and you choose how involved you want to get into the community.  Payouts go directly to the BTC address you specify in the configs, so there's no chance of any main pool server wallet being hacked or going offline and you losing your mined BTC.

I've also mined at BTCGuild, Bitminter and Slush and have nothing against those (BTCGuild is my third backup pool after my p2pool nodes).

Whatever you do, please do not get tempted to mine over at Ghash.  You can find plenty of threads around here as to why you might want to avoid them, I'll not get into it here.

Good luck and happy mining!

I host a P2Pool node with a 0% fee, if you're interested.

Some nodes charge, which is just stupid.
