My new miner:

r9 280x (1020 Mhz): ~10 Mh/s
r9 290x (1000 Mhz): ~40 Mh/s
Tahiti still needs work...

I've been able to optimise even more.

r9 290x (1000 Mhz): ~46 Mh/s

What OS are you using
And how many blocks are you getting a day?
I would love to get my system running like that

Too early to tell how many blocks, will report tomorrow.
I'm on Linux, but I don't think that makes a sensible difference.
That much speed is because I rewrote most of the kernel and enhanced the miner.

I know, that's why diff is so high on bastion, wouldn't make sense with CPUs ;-)
I got 16 blocks overnight on whirlpool.

I got 23 blocks in an hour! 

What is your hashrate wolf0? I see the similarites with quark. The Branching problem.

I actually think I'll play with the algo a little. I'm going to let the difficulty drop, then work on the algo some more. I kind of hacked the shit together.

just compared some of the algos and their difficulty. x15 is looking good now. Bastion is the best, but then I have to work some hours the get a miner ready.

Whirlpoolx is much simplier, hence 10x the hashrate.
Some of the tricks can be shared, some not.
Tahiti needs very different code than Hawaii.
I'm not the only one mining whirlpool, that's why I'm getting much less blocks than wolf0...

18MHASH that is insane. Is that the furu-x gpu you are using? Seems so cold under 50C. Now you will make 24 joincoins in 30minutes Or perhaps not. You only need one graphic card.. let it mine for 24h and see what you get.

It's a Fury unlocked to a Fury X. Fuck the watercooler, it's ewww. The Fury can often be unlocked and runs ICE cold even using the extra CUs. I want to mine on and off, letting the diff go down, though - fun.
EDIT: More edits! Unlocked Fury is hitting 19MH/s, both 290X cards exceeding 14MH/s.
