Is there good news for BTC of bad news?
Has the value of ethereum major influence on the BTC?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Huh, didn't know that eBay was using a third party solution to do their payments! But if they bought that company, it does make sense that they use it if they're already specialized in that area. Apple also buys companies they believe can be an asset for the company or bring new patents or knowledge...

The recent spike in price (+20$) could have been caused by a news we don't know yet?

I am still roughly new to Bitcoin, has the price dropped like this before and we recovered?  It is sort of concerning for me as I did invest some time and money into this now and since I have, it has just steadily gone down!:(

do not worry. It has happened before many times. just keep your btc long and set up a road map that is price levels you will be shorting your positions.

Companies are talking because they want to have their customer some hope about accepting bitcoins. Bitcoin is always in the news and demand for worldwide acceptance is growing so big companies can't just ignore it. They have to keep their options open and be prepared to join the bitcoin club in near future.

Like in equities, you have to wait for some time for your investment to show returns.  Smiley
