Latest Updates:

CCN core developer SubCreative joined the Vaultex.io team and recently completed coding ICO capabilities for Vaultex.  His main job will be working on API development there.  

This will be a nice addition to Cannapay capabilities and for our future API development.

Congratulations Sub on your first successful project over there and we look forward to improvements for Vaultex and Cannapay.  

We are nearly ready to begin testing the Proof-of-stake 2.0 wallet for Cannacoin and will have more updates on that progress soon.

We are on target to have about 4 million total Cannacoins by the time we have the wallet rolled out.  After that, we will be focusing on NWGT.tv and will be ready to begin moving content from NWGreenthumb and hosting live shows there by mid November.

In addition, we would like to welcome a new developer, El_Kabong that is working on an IRC casino!  Come check it out on Freenode IRC #cannasino!

Yes sir!  We have a lot of things in the works.  There's a lot behind the scenes that you don't see and that we do not disclose related to our team.  I can assure you if we were to disclose this info it would create a lot of buzz around the coin!

Cannapay beta is closing to new users in 1 hr.  If you haven't signed up, better do it now.  Otherwise you will have to wait for official release.

None of the existing mining pools support NiceHash as their stratum minimum difficulties are too low (NiceHash needs minimum difficulty of 128 for Scrypt)

So I've added CCN to my pool and I have 2 miners pointed towards it and solving blocks

another quick question -- this time "on topic".  Happy to read through all these posts, but it's a bit long and don't have too much time....


I'm holding a few Cannacoin (50k give or take) -- will I need to do anything with them when the new wallet comes out, or will my wallet address simply port over to the new one?


I know I have the option to keep my wallet open as a node to help the network and get more bang for the CCN, just wondering if I need to do anything else when these new developments come 'round.

Good question:

You will just need to download the new wallet.  It will automatically find your wallet.dat as long as everything else stays constant.

Then, you can begin staking your coins in the same way you would stake Blackcoins and you will become a node on the network, yes.

Cannacoin integration within NWGT.  Great work by SubCreative to create the first (to my knowledge) integration of cryptocurrency with a vBulletin forum.  It's amazing how quickly he got it up and running, and I'm excited to see the features develop over time based on the needs of the community.

I predict that will be the case.  Congrats to those other coins for their successes so far.  CCN as usual pumping out development.  We are working on the Proof-of-stake 2.0 codebase at this very moment.  After that NWGT.tv, Cannapay, smart contracts & Cannashares, and expect some updates to TokeTalk.Net over the next couple weeks as well

Canna is reaping the rewards of cannabis-related coins in general right now.  We've had a lot of late sign-ups for Cannapay as well.
