I see a HASHRA Lunar Launcher 14MH on craigslist for $375. It is used but it is also quite a bit cheaper than a new one.
I live in the Pacific NW, where electricity is really cheap, so I'm thinking there might be a chance at recouping the cost. Then again this person obviously lives up here too and they're selling.  Also looking at a Gridseed blade for $600 and a Antminer S3 for $420...

What do you think?

Good idea. As long as there are no issues with the equipment, buying second-hand can be a lot cheaper than new.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

As long as the equipment is not damaged and the electricity costs are not outrageous it is not a bad idea, but eventually they will run their course just like all tech does

The hash rate is going up like crazy, I don't think you'll roi with that equipment at this rate.

Well,I picked up a GAW 13/14MH'er on sale for $179 last thurs, should be here tomorrow    Grin

So the Hashra is overpriced, since the same GAW/Zues miner was about $349 on Ebay.No longer available at GAW or Zoomhash............................

What Gridseed Blade are referring too,the 5.2MH one Huh They're going for $160-180 on Ebay & $349 on Zoomhash.

So,look around man!!!  Wink

What do you think?

That is weird, normally 2nd hand is much more expensive then new but you are good to go ahead and buy. It should ROI better..

Sounds like a good idea, ASIC still maintains a level of mining practicality.

What do you think?

you can buy gridseed blades on ebay cheaper and

you can buy gridseeds for 179 here

http://gawminers.com/collections/all-miners/products/5-2-mh-s-gridseed-blade-used-same-day-shipping

use code

 WELCOMETOGAW - $10 off orders over $150

GAW25 - $25 off orders over $200

do 3 orders 1 for 179 get 10 off  179 -10 = 169

then buy 2 for 358 get 25 off 358-25 = 333

that will earn points about 5000

So cash them in for 10 bucks off order the  fourth

for 179 -10 = 169

grand total cost = 671   use a cc for protection

Seems like a good deal, just make sure the machine is hashing well and not having some defects.. ask to show proof of working before buying..

What do you think?

no, at that price its NOT a good deal. $200 is a "decent" deal. $300 is too much
