I actually can't remember the last magazine I browsed. I would have called it an e-zine. I was just quoting the post. I do like the price though. I hope Amazon will get aboard the Bitcoin boat, with lower fees these could be even cheaper.

Well raise my rent! That technically is the very first Bitcoin magazine even if it’s only 20 pages long. Here's the link for the whole thing.

Interesting.  It doesn't feel professional at all - seems like a "magazine" that someone created in Microsoft Word.  That said, it's not that bad... just not professional.

Matthew, you've got the "Bitcoin Magazine" trademark in the US already, right?

I think the other mag is thrown together quickly by someone wanting to make a point about a timeline for magazine production. It seems like a half assed attempt to do one quickly and has not really gone into print yet but it has gone to market. I guess only time will tell if it pans out to be a real periodical and not just an elaborate troll. 

We'll see which one gets quoted by bloggers and video pundits.

How many non-computer users will be interested in using bitcoin? I do think there is a market for printed mags but I do wonder how big it is.

Do not know, but don't see how you can make a point with this with out either making a logical fallacy or advertise in PC Gamer. (Based on context I assume that is an in print mag?)

You've never heard of PC Gamer? I guess it's more of an American central magazine than I thought.

Anyway, I really don't understand what logical fallacy you're talking about. People who have computers and care about economics, nerd culture, hacking, programming, online payment methods, etc don't necessary already know about Bitcoin, just like girls with a computer who like makeup don't necessarily automatically know about "Bubz" makeup channel on Youtube, and I bet having a flyer in their high school would bring more traffic than an online spam link any day of the week.

There's also a certain amount of prestige when dealing with a printed, professionally designed product. The difference is this-- when someone sees the Coineer e-zine/childrens school activity printout PDF, they will run away from Bitcoin laughing. When someone sees the Bitcoin Magazine, they're going to think "Wow, what is this interesting new culture I haven't heard about before?".

I said before that there is a need/demand for a print mag about bitcoin. How much I do not know. But your question about the PC gamer thing was a bit of a silly response.

His example of PC Gamer is showing that it has a huge print-copy reader base, even though it caters to those on a computer all day.

Those of us on a computer all day do appreciate a physical mag to hold in our hands.

Yeah, I'm not in that market and I do not understand it clearly. I bought a touch pad to read PDFs. Anyway, as I always said, I'm sure there is a market for it, but I don't know how much.

A lot of people just have preference to read physical magazines.  I SOMETIMES don't mind reading stuff online, but I always prefer reading a printed copy.  Something about reading on a backlit screen just doesn't feel right and is kind of annoying.
