Hi,

sorry for not posting to the correct cgminer thread - but I don't have the permission (yet?).

What I just noticed: I have a 4 core machine. When I set the affinity of cgminer to one core performance dropped by about 10%.

Just wanted to share that ...

That means you have installed one of the drivers that use unnecessary CPU. Change your driver and there will be no need to set affinity.

Developer/maintainer for cgminer, ckpool/ckproxy, and the -ck kernel
