How exactly is the value of a bit coin decided?
by supply and demand on the various exchanges. It is done is very similar ways that prices of stocks are "decided" on the stock market.

Supply, demand and the intrinsic value of bitcoin... If the difficulty keep going up then the intrinsic value would be really high...

This is correct. It is the "market" that prices the value of bitcoin in a similar way that it determines the value of anything else that is freely traded.

Bitcoin has no intrinsic value. While it has production cost, the value is derived from free market force alone.

Value is derived from supply and demand pretty much always.

supply and demand for now, this is the reason why bitcoin is stagnant, wait for paypal/amazon, in that case will not be only supply and demand, not only a speculative thing

If you look in some exchange website you will find several buy and sell orders, they decide the value.
