As I'm classified a newbie let me ask my question here.

I'm playing around with BAMT for some time now and recognized an autoconf_client running on the miner and the autoconf.conf file. Searching through the forum I've only found this post of "Mr. Bamt" lodcrappo https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28967.msg747974#msg747974

However, I could not find out how to use central config management. Are that autoconf features already included & active in 0.5c? If yes, how to use them?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin-Qt, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Type:

nano /etc/bamt/autoconf.conf

Change:

do_autoconf_server: 0

to

do_autoconf_server: 1

Note the port number listed there before you save and exit. It is important.
