i went out for a smoke, convinced myself to buy it at 6.25 CAD

but now the price is 6.44  Lips sealed

i bought a bunch at 5.49 yesterday morning

no, this is bitcoin, and by my recollection this is a very normal state of affairs

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.
