Can new users invest in the casino, or just those than had invested in the past (I remember some time ago that restriction existed, I don't know if it's still running)?

The BTC and ETH bankrolls are only available to people that have previously invested in them. All other coins are open to everyone.

- Probably the only gambling site where investments are proved to be lucrative publicly.

I don't think this is really true. I've been invested in a few casinos bankrolls, and they've all so far been profitable (*touch wood*), just the main problem has been most of them having pretty low bankroll turn over.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but crypto-games seems to fall into this category for me a bit. I believe bitcoin investors made 52 bitcoin in the last 6 months (which is absolutely nothing to complain about) but in the same period  bustadice investors made 479 BTC (and based on a smaller bankroll in fact too) and bustabit investors made 1250 (although ~750 is probably a better number due to some huge whale action that happened exactly 6 months ago today).

But anyway, I agree with the rest of the stuff said here. Probably the thing I appreciate the most about crypto-games is how this thread is kept non-self-moderated so it's pretty easy to check in and get the full story of what's going on (without worrying they're being deleted) and in over a year of following it, it seems like a very honestly run business.

Is a history of Bustabit profits posted anywhere?

I think both are possible. In terms of old people guide the new user how to use as well as how to play. It should be easy to get involved and have many results to consider.

This is a pretty good resource: https://dicesites.com/bustabit

which works for quite a few sites, including crypto-games

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Honestly telling, the wagering competitions do little good for medium and small players( who later on attract whales).
This is because all the prize money is taken by people who have big balance and the amount of prize money you give to them is so little as compared to their present balance that they might not even realize that something has been added to their accounts.

Honestly telling, the wagering competitions do little good for medium and small players( who later on attract whales).
I strongly disagree, there's wagering contest on all coins offered at CG. Yes, the BTC and ETH contests are dominated by players with a big bankroll and if you're on a budget, competing might get hard.
But if you go away from the two (maybe three) big coins and playerbases, the contests become interesting even to small regular players.
Across the site and coins, imho there's options for everyone to compete on a leaderboard they have realistic chances on.

This is because all the prize money is taken by people who have big balance and the amount of prize money you give to them is so little as compared to their present balance that they might not even realize that something has been added to their accounts.
How would you even know that? Have you won one of the wagering contests in the past? Have you talked to the players that did?
If not, I'd encourage you to pop into the site chat and talk to one of the VIP players (those are the winners of past wagering contests) about their experiences and wheter or not they are satisfied with the way the rewards work.

Maybe you've seen 164BTC wagered and an expected reward of 0.36~BTC and concluded that under one Bitcoin is tiny compared to 164.
But that's combined, total monthly wagers, not the balance the player has at any point. At a combined maximum of a little short of $60k (around 9BTC right now), the prizes are nothing to scoff at, I'd say.

If we look at the percentages, the wagering contest gives you up to 0.22% of your monthly wagers back. The house edge on the lowest house edge game (ignoring the 0HE lottery) is 0.8% at Dice.
To a dice player, that means winning the monthly wagering contest, they get more than 25% of their expected loses back (their -EV here being the house edge they play against).
This is of course ignoring variance and other factors that might change their profit, but a potential 25% loss back is a decent offer in my book.

You can like or dislike the wagering contests, I'm sure there's many players supporting your point of view,
as I am sure there are equally as many people supporting the view I've just outlined above.
And if you insist on disliking it, there's two options I'd say that are available to you.

The first one is to give constructive criticism. Don't just say "its bad, the rewards are too low, I can't compete".
Give your idea on how to improve it. Make a suggestion about what to change. Maybe others support your draft, maybe it can be implemented.

The second one, and this is also a perfectly fine way of approaching the wagering contests, is ignoring them.
Use the site without paying attention to the wagering board, don't try to rank high, play the way you wanna play.
Because CG has imho much to offer even if you do not compete in the contests. And there's ways to have fun gambling without ranking first on a leaderboard and getting a big additional reward.

Hmm, I don't know about that though. Even 5th (or last) place in the wagering contests of some of the less popular coins is pretty much unattainable for regular players.
Some examples:

5th place for Stratis: 10,447 STRAT = 15879 USD
5th place for Peercoin: 2,859 PPC = 3202 USD
5th place for Ethereum Classic: 872 ETC = 10812 USD
5th place for NEOGas: 243 GAS = 1372 USD
5th place for Dash: 9.04 DASH = 1292 USD
7th place for Dogecoin: 5,509,476 DOGE = 13184 USD
5th place for Monero: 12.75 XMR = 1199 USD
7th place for Litecoin: 205.08 LTC = 11638 USD

If you're just gambling a couple of hundred USD worth of crypto every month or so, you'll never get any prize.
I'd call someone like that a small regular player.

Edit:
I do have to add that I think there are still enough promotions for occasional gamblers. I mean everybody always has an equal chance at the CG birthday and holiday events.
So I don't mind too much that the wagering competitions are pretty much reserved for the high rollers. That's the whole point of having a wagering competition IMO.

Some examples ~
I don't think combined, total monthly wagers are a good measurement to say whether or not competing in a contest is affordable.
Especially with low house edges like CG has them, you can wager a lot of money even with a small or medium starting balance (-> deposit).
Thus I would look at the -EV those players on the places you pointed out currently have. I'll use Dice (0.8% HE) for my calculation, as it gives us the lowest number and as Dice is the most popular game.
The numbers I'll get is what the players are expected to have lost when wagering what they have wagered, for the question on whether or not something is "affordable", I think that's a good number/measurement.

5th place for Stratis: 10,447 STRAT = 15879 USD * 0.008 = $127.04
5th place for Peercoin: 2,859 PPC = 3202 USD * 0.008 = $25.62
5th place for Ethereum Classic: 872 ETC = 10812 USD * 0.008 = $86.49
5th place for NEOGas: 243 GAS = 1372 USD * 0.008 = $10.98
5th place for Dash: 9.04 DASH = 1292 USD * 0.008 = $10.34
7th place for Dogecoin: 5,509,476 DOGE = 13184 USD * 0.008 = $105.47
5th place for Monero: 12.75 XMR = 1199 USD * 0.008 = $9.59
7th place for Litecoin: 205.08 LTC = 11638 USD * 0.008 = $91.10
As you can see, you can realistically reach those wager numbers even with some small/medium deposits.

If you're just gambling a couple of hundred USD worth of crypto every month or so, you'll never get any prize. I'd call someone like that a small regular player.
If you can afford to risk and possibly lose between $10 and $150 worth of crypto a month, you have a realistic chance of scoring a prize on the wagering contests.
I wouldn't say the wagering contests are exclusive to high rollers, with that in mind.

Yeah I didn't really keep in mind that you can basically play dice at the lowest payout setting and realistically get above those monthly top wagered amounts.
Seems kinda obvious now that it's possible, but it probably didn't cross my mind since I personally don't use that sort of low risk strategy. (that and I was tired Tongue)

Still somewhat of a useful post, since you can now easily spot the most attainable wagering contests.
Kinda surprised though that it's Monero and Dash, would have guessed that Peercoin was less popular.

question

how much would it cost more a more a month in server fees if you had al lbetting amounts with no delays?

i really love playing at site when all bets are fast.

low base betting kinda sucks cuz so slow

i think you guys would have more action if you had no delays in between bets.

thank you

Honestly telling, the wagering competitions do little good for medium and small players( who later on attract whales).
I strongly disagree, there's wagering contest on all coins offered at CG. Yes, the BTC and ETH contests are dominated by players with a big bankroll and if you're on a budget, competing might get hard.
But if you go away from the two (maybe three) big coins and playerbases, the contests become interesting even to small regular players.
Across the site and coins, imho there's options for everyone to compete on a leaderboard they have realistic chances on

I play from faucet only (since I can't deposit) and am in position to take a reward from the contest. Just started playing the coin last week too. You don't need a huge bankroll to be competitive.

What's the point of quoting above post without replying anything? Bumping the case? If so, are you alt of Intensity or you are just trying to bump a baseless accusation against CG?
