Congrats to Thelandir for hitting dice jackpot twice today with bets of 50 satoshi and 0.00128622 LTC.. what a lucky guy! Wink

Catch the winning spirit!

Wow! Congrats to Thelandir!

Seeing the post I immediately decided to try for that myself. I quickly read "How can I win the Jackpot?" and started rolling. Just after a dozen of rolls I won with BetID:2,583,137,277 and thought "OMG! I hit it so fast!" Smiley
But then I reread the rules and saw that:

Quote
You can win the Jackpot when your dice bet meets ALL of the following criteria:
Dice roll is a winning roll of 7.777 or 77.777
Last two digits of BetID are 77
Bet size is at least 0.00000050 BitCoin.

Well, I met only 3 of them: it was a winning roll; last two digits of BetID were 77 and the bet was over 0.00000050 BTC. I will be definitely trying more. Smiley

Regarding the minimum exchange amount, if most players on the site think it's low enough, then I'm okay with that too.

And there exactly are how many clones of them in the market? I can list more than 20 which have failed miserably. I doubt the tea, will consider adding a new game as similar to their "competition" just because you think we're not popular.

I dont even see the reason why would CG adding up a bustabit-like game.If he would try to search up more about CG then he might changed his suggestions.  Grin

I don't get why are you talking like that, I'm just an investor at Crypto-Games. If implementing that game would be cheap enough, I don't see why shouldn't it be added, so gamblers would have more options to spend money at the casino. Wagered/bankroll is quite low, so suggestions should be welcome.

Wagered/bankroll is quite low.
While that is true, it also helps to look at the reasons why it's the case.
One that is very evident is the bankrolls being of a significant size, without checking (so please correct me if I am wrong), I think CG currently holds the biggest bankrolls among crowdfunded sites for BTC and ETH.
If we take a look at the total numbers instead of the proportion, the wagers do not seem so low after all.

Instead of chasing elevatedly high wager levels to satisfy any kind of br/wager ratio, investors that think the wagers are too low can opt to divest, decreasing the bankroll size and restoring balance this way.

I don't get why are you talking like that, I'm just an investor at Crypto-Games.
And the people responding are players at CG who aren't interested in a busta* like game, you have to respect that in the same way they have to respect your opinion.

I don't see why shouldn't it be added, so gamblers would have more options to spend money at the casino.
Because more isn't necessarily better. And sometimes the best thing is to stay focused and instead of trying to do everything, do what you already do in the best way possible.
That doesn't mean there won't be any new games at CG, it just means the time has to be picked right and the game has to be as well.

...

Crypto-Games indeed does have a big bankroll, but it definitely is not the
biggest among crowdfunded sites anymore.

1. Bustabit - Total invested:  4536 BTC
2. Bustadice - Total invested:  4397 BTC
3. Crypto-Games - Total invested: 1469 BTC

If we exclude offsite/leverage:

1. Bustabit - Total invested:  2315 BTC
2. Bustadice - Total invested:  1520 BTC
3. Crypto-Games - Total invested: 1469 BTC

Crypto-Games therefore doesn´t have the biggest bankroll of all crowdfunded sites, but
it occupies the top position if we ignore the two sites run by devans.

Altcoin wagering doesn't affect BTC wagered/bankroll, which is what I believe the discussion was about.

Exactly. Expected returns from investing BTC in Crypto Games are quite low, but unfortunately there aren't that many other options (at least that I know of), so I have a bit there.

The way I understand it, bustabit and bustadice are two independent services ran by the same organisation, similar to eg BitVest and 777Coin, both operated by lightlord.
I do not necessarily have an account at bustadice if I use bustabit, or the other way around.
That's significantly different to two coin (BTC and ETH in my example) offered at the same site, where you can switch (or even exchange) between them with one click.

Altcoin wagering doesn't affect BTC wagered/bankroll, which is what I believe the discussion was about.
I'm fairly sure it does. If there was no altcoin gambling offered at CG, while the total wagers would be certainly lower than the combined total wagers right now,
I'd strongly expect the BTC wagers themselves to be a lot higher.

(Likewise the same might be true for bankroll investments and thus the bankroll size)

Expected returns from investing BTC in Crypto Games are quite low, but unfortunately there aren't that many other options
There is one you should consider. If you're unsatisfied with the investment returns, divesting is likely the best option for you.
You shouldn't be trapped in a bankroll/investment you do not like simply based on a lack of alternatives.

Yesterday I was playing Video Poker and was so lucky to hit 4 of a Kind with 120k PlayMoney bet:

Since I normally don't gamble with big amounts, 2,400,000 PlayMoney, or roughly $3, is a pretty good win for me. So I decided to tip couple of people who congratulated me on my win in chat. But it turned out that the minimum tip amount is 0.002 BTC. Well, obviously I can't tip someone with $13 for congratulating me on winning $3. Smiley

Earlier I was convinced here that the minimum exchange amount, equivalent to 0.001 BTC, is not that big and I said that that was all right with me. And now I have a similar question regarding the minimum tip amount. Smiley
Is it really so dangerous to make a minimum tip, say, 1k sats?

I mean, of course I know about the possibility of faucet abusing. But are there no other ways to deal with that, apart from increasing the minimum tip amount?

Because more isn't necessarily better. And sometimes the best thing is to stay focused and instead of trying to do everything, do what you already do in the best way possible.
That doesn't mean there won't be any new games at CG, it just means the time has to be picked right and the game has to be as well.

Returns even if low are still fine for me, I was just curious why there wasn't that kind of game at Crypto-Games as it's a place where people already have different games to play.

Exactly. Expected returns from investing BTC in Crypto Games are quite low, but unfortunately there aren't that many other options (at least that I know of), so I have a bit there.

Instead of storing our coins in our cold wallet some of those coins can be invested in these trusted sites because even though profits are not that great but still we can earn some money over the time. But remember don't invest all your coins in a single site.

I had invested around 35 LTC in last November and now I got around a few extra LTC profit. LTC prices went down a lot after my investment but that is a different issue.

Catch the winning spirit!

Congrats to Kelsie080 on winning 3.984 BTC! I myself always play with the yellow button on Plinko because only thus you have a chance to hit 650x. Never hit it yet, but I'm never losing my hope. Smiley

Yesterday I was playing Video Poker and was so lucky to hit 4 of a Kind with 120k PlayMoney bet:

~img

Since I normally don't gamble with big amounts, 2,400,000 PlayMoney, or roughly $3, is a pretty good win for me. So I decided to tip couple of people who congratulated me on my win in chat. But it turned out that the minimum tip amount is 0.002 BTC. Well, obviously I can't tip someone with $13 for congratulating me on winning $3. Smiley You can always use rain ,as i can recall minimum is really low ,and is also the most respectful way to celebrate and share as gambler with all others

Yeah, thanks! Just checked it and indeed the minimum rain amount is 0.00015 BTC which gives you an opportunity to tip, say, 3 players with 5k sats each, if I understand it correctly. This is surely much more convenient than tipping one person with no less than 200k.

Huh, for all the time I've been playing on this website, I never knew that you could rain to other people.
Gotta remember that if I ever start gambling again, there have been many times where I've thought about tipping someone, but didn't because of the high minimum tip.

Still learning something new about CG after all these years Tongue

You can't rain directly to other players. The !rain command has a lower minimum, but the funds go to RainBot.

Gotcha, Betwrong's response made it seem as though you could rain directly to a certain number of players.
Maybe that's actually what he meant...

Already knew that you could donate to rainbot.
