Some math before I go to bed:

Assumptions:

  • Maintenance is $0.08/MH/day.
  • 8% difficulty increases (we've averaged about 10% over last 5 diff changes but it appears to be slowing a bit)
  • alt-coin values stay roughly the same relative to BTC
  • $475/1BTC (this doesn't matter too much unless it changes radically)
  • Earned/MH is total BTC earned after maintenance, which may drop over time but is not accounted for here

Here is calculated ROI for the various hashlets:

Code:
Miner  Cost(BTC/MH)   Earned/MH  ROI
Zen       .0462        .0536     116%
Multi     .0357        .0343     96%
Nice      .0420        .0199     47%
Clever    .0378        .0186     49%
Waffle    .0399        .0128     32%

So the only miner that might return positive results is Zen. Not worth the risk IMO unless you are thinking much lower difficulty increases and/or increasing alt-coin/BTC value (although you may as well just buy alt-coins if you are thinking the latter)

Questions/Problems
  • This begs the question: Why would they charge different rates for different pools? Why should they care if you're leasing the hardware? Very odd IMO
  • One major problem I have is that they do not tell you the maintenance up front. Did I miss this? Do you really have to buy one before you know the maintenance costs? If so, that's pretty sketchy.
  • Sure wish I'd done this table before buying some Clever hashing LOL (I just bought a few MH)

Hello what mean the "24h Payout", is it what i can expect?

So

1Mh ZenHashlet paid: 0.00064654 BTC

15Mh Zen Hashlet paid: 0.00231614 BTC

little bit undercharged?

That was what you got paid for that 24 hour period. If you bought your miners and there was 6 hours before the end of that 24 hour period, you got paid for 6 hours mining. Today you should see the full 24 hour payment. You get paid today for what you mined the previous 24 hours before basically.

i don't understand why some one would now pay double the price to have Prime VS solo just so you can change pool.

looking at pool picker nicehash and other pool all pretty much offer the same earning give or take 2%

why dont you just offer 1 thing BTC/Mhs like CEX.io and that is . maybe charge a small fee and a min of 100mhs per pool change

$39.95 VS $16.95

you have to be a compete sucker  to pay $23 more ( that is 230% more )

SOLO  0.03296 BTC ($17) and earning today rate at 0.0004 = 82 day ROI
Prime  0.08315 BTC ($39) and earning today rate at 0.0004 = 207 day ROI

please let me know if i am missing some thing

for the life of me , i dont understand how the same hardware but set to a different pool cost different
MultiPool hash rate are $17  BUT  $20 at Nicehash and $22 ZenPool ( I guess this cover pool fees)

all your doing is changing 1 miner to a different pool adress and selling the dividing the earning from the pool the total MHS

Yea, I was looking into these 'Hashlets' from GAW but this latest offering of the day has turned me completely off.  They lost all credibility with this...

Sincerely I do not understand their price policies...

price more then doubled in less then 1 week starting from $15.99 USD 1 week ago for 1Mhs and now it is 39.99 USD (for same Prime Hashlet)

Just "Solo ZenHashlet" are still a bit profitable...  I think...

logical whould be same ratio scrypt hashrate towards scrypt-n hashrate as the vaultbreaker have

I don't see Hashlets being able to mine scrypt-n coins for profit. There just isn't enough volume there to be able to reliably mine it with the hashrate GAW/Zen say they have without killing the market.

Then there is the fact that VTC will be changing algos.

Well that at least is a little  comforting. Almost 48hrs in, no payouts (not even any indication of an estimate). I do have a mention in the activity log of a BTC payout and there's a "payout" in the hash area of the balance tab but with no amount.... Dashboard is just a hashrate and a lot of 0's though... was beginning to think it was just a con Sad

Do you really have to register to three different sites just to keep up to date though... support ticket site (unanswered for 8.5 hours so far), ZenPool itself and the hashtalk forum?

The header amount doesn't get calculated until the run is 100% complete. They said there is some sort of technical issue today, probably due to the influx of customers, so payouts are taking crazy long. If you have payouts in your latest activity it will calculate into the total soon enough.
