Chartbuddy has been posting in the Wall Observer thread for a long time. Originally, a poll was taken and Chartbuddy continued as a result but sentiments change and it's probably time to gauge opinion again, especially since Chartbuddy was in his own thread for a little while and people seemed to like that. (Though that thread was locked by an administrator so that may not be an option that will be allowed).

Vote and I'll stand by the result.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I see that after 16 votes only one person voted against Chartbuddy. Let me guess.

Faiiiiling?

I think that he (it) should post in the wall thread only.

I'd prefer both the Wall Observer and a dedicated Chartbuddy thread.

I think the Chartbuddy bot is a cool project.  But may I ask of those who didn't create it, what value does Chartbuddy really add that cannot be found on a site like bitcoinity or bitcoinwisdom?

Historical price context to explain sentiment changes in the posts of the thread.  It provides some correlation that can actually be studied with regards to sentiment vs price changes in a way that can be easily noticed.

Why care what other think? This is an open community and post whatever you wish.

If Faiiiiling can post crap and get away with it, I don't see why you should get offended if a few individual dislike your chart.

Chartbuddy is the heartbeat of the Wall Observer Thread.

I use its frequency to quickly gauge how active the thread is.  When I log in and see Chartbuddy talking to itself, I know things are calm and I should just to go to bed.

You could maybe make updates half as often.  Chartbuddy's graph is most useful for the history it shows, but there is often little change visible in Chartbuddy's time range.

I can't believe 12% have actually voted "bye bye".

Why would anybody not like Chartbuddy? You can always put him on ignore.

It can't possibly be just Faiiiiling, MatTheTwat , Fonzie, and their hard-core troll alter-egos.

Not gonna lie, I kinda liked having him in his own thread. But it really doesn't matter to me. Wouldn't get rid of him entirely. Smiley

If he wants his own thread then give the dude/dudette his/her own dedicated thread.
Depending on the content quality it will be at the top or bottom of the active thread list Smiley

Wall Observer is its home but a new thread only for Chartbuddy should be fine.

If he posts once every hour it will keep the thread bumped up fairly high most of the time. If things are quiet he probably helps keep the wall observer thread bumped up fairly high.

Chart buddy is the most ON topic poster in the wall observer thread.

Yep I consider chartbuddy to be the most consturctive poster lol.
Always accurate to the hourly price and consistent as heck XD
Anyways I think the WO thread is his best place but if it gets its own dedicated thread that doesn't get locked that's fine as well.

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world
