What is the current PoS rate?
PoS minimum rate is 5% annual. The actual rate depends on staking activity on the network. If 100% of the coins were staking on the network, we'd get the minimum rate. The less staking activity on the network, the bigger are the rewards for those who are staking. At the moment, staking activity is still very low on the network and the actual rate reflects it. I just minted a few FLT this morning and received about 8.3% interest on my stake for 30 days.  Actual annual rate is around 100% meaning there is only 5% of the coins actually collecting the rewards for staking. Still a lot of room to increase the activity and spreading the rewards among more participants.  |

We are now working on our roadmap - our actual devs are adding many nice things to our client - but we are too actively seeking for external talents. We already found some - but there is still room for others, and we will set some decent ''donations'' for those external helpers. Our goal is obviously ALWAYS to get people doing the job on their own - but it's not always possible, and if we want to further develop Fluttercoin - we will need a lot more incomes. Few of us are discussing some options to get a constant income - but it's not for tomorrow. And as you know, Fluttercoin is not a premined coin - an IPO coin or other way to frontload the dev team from day 1, so we always have to rely on donation, good will and team work. But now - we ask every single FLTes to help us with donations. Without donation - a lot of nice ideas wont be possible. And we realy do want to realize a lot of things ! I disagree - there is a lot of talk at the moment saying that serious coins should not be distributing for free. If the coin is good enough, people will buy and use. Free distribution often leads to dumping. The focus should be on getting people to buy it themselves. Things change fast in crypto at the moment. Don't let FLT get left behind. |

Well I think you misunderstood a bit. We are not ''distributing for free''. We seek donations to pay devs and promotions. Your right, we don't want to be left behind - and it's why we need a lot of support. More TeamFLT get from donation, more improvement and promotion we can do.
Don't forget that most of the coins use some sort of premine to pay for projects (or to profits and fly out). Now, Fluttercoin is not on that spot at all. We must rely on voluntary work and donations to progress.

Quick hint of what we will release next :
- Optional Anon service.
- Quick blockchain sync (up to 25x!!!)
- Cosmetic wallet work.
- Stake for devs or charity.
The last feature, I realy pushed for it - and I realy do hope people will use it. You will be able to set a % of staking reward to be automaticly sent to our donation funds or manually select another adress of your choice.
It's not our priority at the moment - but it will be a nice way to contribute to the network while helping further flutter developement.
For now, we are using our bounty fund and we need to full it a bit. We have so much to do - we realy want to be the best cryptocurencies.

Haha as for now I would prefer staking for dev-promo ! But it'd be up for everyone.
But put it that way. Do you prefer to give 10 000 FLT worth 90 satos each for charity now - or helping TeamFLT pushing the price up by developping and promoting... ...allowing you later to give 1000 FLTs worth 5000 satos each ?
I always seen cryptos (and now FLT) as one of the best ''charitable'' thing to do in this economic slavery world. And i mean each on those words. I spend a lot of time (never get any ''donation'' and will never ask for). I too gave more than 500k flt to some persons-projects. In my mind, IT is charity ! I work for a rock solid mainstream currency, one that will allow people to save time, monnaie, and cut a bit of this economic slavery.
So it's why I ask that often to help us with time, donation, bring new people, share FLT infos and so.
Still, it's good to if you prefer to give to charity.

i think if you consider all the coinz out there and the stuff other devs try and get away with fluttercoin dev team is first class they are professional and they are honest bottom line is they dont control the price its the community that holds or sells most of the coins to affect the price its not easy being a dev i have seen many hard working devs none of them are like here i cant seem to put a word on it but it is calming knowing these guys are piloting this butterfly being a new old fart i cant believe that fluttergirls tongue lol anyway its very current looking and i like the donation idea in staking |
