Basically all I see this doing is pushing Moneros timeline back a few years but when it pops out on its own it will explode and not return. Which is not a big deal as all the original holders have all made their investment returns (except idiots like me and those that got scammed).
Exactly. Monetary status will emerge from economic realities, not marketing and exchange listings. The race is to building an unstopable and uncensorable protocol, not who can secure the best backroom deals for exchange listings with their pre-mine. Anyone use verge on PornHub yet? The monero devs are squarely focused on what matters: hardening the protocol. We are watching the nascent steps of this monetary status emerge in literal slow motion. It's going to be painful sometimes. Such is the nature of watching exponential growth from a human perspective fixed to about 0.2 seconds. Chinese police bust a World Cup gambling ring with more than $1 billion in cryptocurrencyhttps://www.theverge.com/2018/7/13/17569006/world-cup-gambling-ring-china-police-cryptocurrencySHUM The operators used BTC, ETH and LTC. Lmao. And it seems Monero's community hasn't spread the word quite well yet. Curious if we would've even heard of it if XMR was used... It is interesting that after all this years there seems to be so little interest for Monero in China. There is huge interest in Bitcoin but way less for Monero and we would sort of expect there will be because of China political and economic system. The logistics of coordinating a billion dollars worth of transaction volume something worth, in entirety, 2 billion dollars is hardly feasible for a market already risky enough such as gambling. The time needed to exchange that much without significantly impacting a market that typically only sees a couple million dollars a day would probably leave many a gambler sick to the stomach. So, point is, aside from technical underlying potential, there are many other legitimate reasons not to use monero. Like if one group we're to lose a 50+million dollar bet (you know..about 5% of a billion) denominated in USD but exchanged through monero that would surely be a losing proposition even if the opposite were true and the sorry fellas won the first bet.

More generally, the code base would likely benefit from fuzz testing and automated static analysis.
Just curious what this is? What sort of analyses would these tests do that they couldn't?

Just curious what this is? What sort of analyses would these tests do that they couldn't? Not sure about the automated part but static analysis should be part of any code review and fuzz is basically just going through a series of crap inputs to see if you can cause exceptions IIRC. Always just hit enter for an input when just compiling your programs to test you error trap there. It's funny when you watch someone program crash when you just hit enter when it doesn't check for null. lol

Possible he adjusted his future predictions and sold out, waiting for new generation blockchain projects to throw money at.

If my opinion people have very good feelings, it is with about the current situation. Since this is a speculation of threads I would like to know what will be the most bullish event for us to xmr in the future.

When people in general realize that there is no need for some sort of stamp of "approval" from a centralized entity like a ledger, coinbase, etc. that will make things "bullish" for Monero. In other words, when people realize that XMR is a chance for everyone to have their very own private, off shore, "Swiss bank account".

It's hard to tell... Check the news: https://www.monero.how/monero-news. But I think most bullish event for XMR will be another bitcoin bubble, when BTC makes big moves also all altcoins do. XMR was just added to Ledger, https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/8z2zz2/monero_has_successful_audit_of_their_bulletproofs/, new client... A lot of news but it doesn't reflect on it's price as much as other (company driven tokens/coins). Listen to this and you will understand it better (from 22 minute on): https://youtu.be/KqhRZfKRriU?t=21m58s.

Anybody know where aminorix is? He is out?
People take breaks from this forum. It is wise thing to do. You can see eh had not posted fro many months. adjusted his future predictions and sold out
You dont sell your Monero before 2019 ends. That was the first rule of Monero. It made mining very good. It's very valuable. Investing now is a bit scary. Used for privacy. This makes it worthwhile. I've had an amount last year
Investing now is much better then half year ago. I was scared in December a lot where all this leads. Now I am total calmed down.

As usual, you take far too long to spew the same old same old. The degree of anger it must take to actually sit down and compose such a diatribe in response to my comment is truly astounding.
Brevity. Wit. It's not hard.
Way to miss the obvious self-parody saturating every word of my post. It's like you were born without a sense of humor and are unable to properly operate a sarcasm detector, even when aided with clues in giant red letters. No wonder Fluffy's funny magical crypto tweets make you clutch your pearls before collapsing onto the nearest fainting couch, weeping softly for the appalling lack of good manners on The Internet. Have you ever participated on any other threads? No? Try to get out more. I'm sure Deepak Navikant has some appropriately mealy-mouthed platitude regarding the value of opinion diversity you could peruse rather than keep being "truly" astounded by your own lack of reading comprehension and context awareness. Monero runs on comedy and Fluffy is our Chief Entertainment Officer. If you can't handle that, perhaps the Dash community would be a better fit and more able to accommodate your sensitivities. fluffy ponys' token scam machine will send your shitcoin to the moons of uranus weeee

With the current price of one hundred forty US dollar Monero's market increase by Three point ninety three percent and continuous to track a bull flag. It is not that bif of a bullish move but Monero is doing great. Xmr speculation by the end of the year should be a little over Three Hundred US dollar.
