If people are trying to cash out from the LTC pump, Monero wouldn't be a bad place to put your money with everything lining up as it is.
Also, it's September which is always a pretty good month for Monero.
What exactly is 'lining up' ?

These are just a few of the items. Check out some of dEBRUYNEs other post history and you'll find plenty of nuggets on new features like an increase in the minimum ring size, etc...

A ton of good stuff coming Soon TM in Monero space. Multi-signature, hardware wallet support, 3rd party wallets incl. mobile, possible crypto improvement to privacy (even more than now, if you can believe it), possible addition to major exchange (*cough*coinbase*cough*), evolution as the PRIMARY or ONLY currency on next-generation darknet markets, etc etc etc. There's just a ton of stuff all working in favor of XMR going much, much higher in next year or so. The further you dig into learning about it the more you'll believe that is true. Despite any disappointment that this weekend expected Big Event Pump did not materialize, Monero is still a major BUY and HODL... IMHO.

XMR in Coinbase ? Where is this rumor coming from ?
It's been percolating for months... search back in this thread, see FluffyPony's talk last year at Coinbase headquarters on YouTube, check the coinbase employee blog pages about "what is Monero" etc. Personally I think it's very likely a done deal BUT they're only having to wait for MULTI-SIG (for their vault feature) in order to be able to launch. And Multi-Sig should be coming in the next hard fork if all goes as planned. So... IMHO it's likely very Soon TM (but *yes*, it's still a "rumor"...)

Multisig does not require a hard fork it is done offchain in the wallet. There won't be any difference between multisig and regular transactions on the network/blockchain. The main holdup is formal review of the cryptography and implementation, along with additional testing. There isn't a specific schedule for release at this time. I think there was some discussion of it in Surae's recent MRL quarterly review.

Aha, thanks for clarification: good to know it's coming Soon TM in any case (but whenever it's ready, as always. No rush in Monero quality always Job Number One )

Monero isn't a shitshow like Ethereum. Multisig will be released when it's confirmed to be solid.

Cazes was caught by using a hotmail.com address in the AlphaBay welcome email, which had nothing to do with BTC.
It is by such just-so stories that LEO methods are concealed. Anyhow, I think this smells more of ZEC, with the July 1 introduction and July 5 bust. Bitcoin will be regulated. XMR will be outright banned.
Not in the U.S., as the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that the constitution guarantees a right to privacy. One question: Assuming future darknet markets adopt XMR, will the Monero network be able to scale to accommodate that?
Yes. Monero was designed for scalability, with adaptive parameters.

dip could be impressive, but will not last for long imo

Yes. Monero was designed for scalability, with adaptive parameters. Hi Aminorex, Was waiting for you to log in. You had some big claims for Monero and I am very curious to know how the fork and other things might affect Monero price in a positive manner this month of September. Along with that what is your prediction for Monero around September 20th+? Thanks and I honestly look forward to your answer since you have been mentioned to previously to have an outstanding recording in your predictions. Much appreciated for your time!

In my opinion...monero price ideally is half of dash price. Coin in circulation is twice dash dash and monero both is competitor in crypto. If it is reach half of dash it is mean it reach its highest price.

In my opinion...monero price ideally is BTC price. Coin in circulation is roughly the same as BTC. BTC and monero both is competitor in crypto. If it is reach BTC it is mean it reach its highest price. for the moment

Agree Mintero is BTC's direct competitor, I don't understhand the Darkcoin comparation. Masternodes aren't really decentralized, for me Dash is like Ripple thing but with 38.000.000.000 less coins and a soda machine
