Judging by the giddy posts in here people still seem to be looking at the inflated prices of coingecko/coinmarketcap.

Looking at the price on majority of other exchanges the price is mostly where it was 24 hrs ago or it has gone down.

I thought it had some massive upswing, where back in reality it has treaded water while majority of other coins have gone down (which is something!)

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

guys do you hear about pinkdate?
They're making an anonymous escorting platform and using Monero to pay out dividends to coin holders (pinkdate.is)

look like interesting project with monero.

Let them do it first and then lets wait half a year to see what they did.  Then come back and ask. There will be many similar projects in future rare will succeed.

XMR will have at least 3.5% of BTC's marketcap by February 24th at just after 2pm PST.

You can take that to the bank. (I mean it this time.)

Seasons greetings to one and all.

Still on target.

Need another 1.4 billion dollars in the next 3 days...

But now that bitcoin is doing it's best resurrection act and alts are shrinking... what do you guys see for the future price action of our beloved coin?

XMR looks to be on track to do what it always does. Fireworks on March 20th. $1500.

I doubted you last time and regretted it. But...$1500...within four weeks? That would be truly astonishing.

You should be doubting me. After all, I'm just a guy on the internet.

But...$1500...within four weeks? That would be truly astonishing.

The rises are abrupt and without warning. They're astonishing only for a brief moment before seeming inevitable in retrospect.

Has Johnny got a good track record?

He called the Xmas ATH in November when XMR was wandering in the 100s. See here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.msg24985697#msg24985697

It was hard to believe at the time but it happened.

1500 by year end is my guess. 1500 by March I’ll buy everyone Barolo.

You might end up regretting that promise (we can only hope).

I'll have done OK Smiley

Barolo.

I understand that 2013 is a truly remarkable vintage. It is a good time to put down a few cases for 8 years or so.

I drank a terrific bottle in Venice last year, it was 2013, it was breath taking.

At home I usually slum with Barbaresco.

Today, XMR holds the 10th line of cryptocurrency rating. A market capitalization of $5.9 billion. The closest competitors are NEM and EOS. The Monero rate of $ 350 reflects an increase of more than 2,000% compared to the situation at the beginning of this year. If you look at bitcoin, the undisputed leader in this field, its growth is about 1,500%. You can say that XMR have brought their investors a large profit for the year compared to BTC. Although, some competitors have better performance.

Nice trade Sir. Wink

This is why I hold tight.

The moment I start to worry I get whiplash.

Lol yeah, I've been waiting since OCT so I was thinking I was out of time but I guess there will be a dip before the next step up. Smiley

1500 by year end is my guess. 1500 by March I’ll buy everyone Barolo.

So how many bottles will it take to wipe out the profits from the move? Smiley

The rises are abrupt and without warning. They're astonishing only for a brief moment before seeming inevitable in retrospect.

I can attest to this! Smiley

Figured I'd Quote this for the Lulz. Cheesy

what's the price going to be by dec. 31?

will we see $200?

Someone should make a thread where we guess exact prize.

I am quite certain price will go over USD ATH before the end of the year. If it will go beyond to $200 is also possible but that is not so sure thing anymore. If it will stay above $200 on Dec.31?  I would give 25% chance to that.

I doubt XMR will spend any time in the $200 range. The price will creep toward $150 before exploding all the way to $300, and then peak near $425 by mid December.

Going to effectively triple in price in the space of a month? Yeah I highly doubt that will happen.

Be pretty shocked if it hit $200 by end of 2017
