I feel Monero Classic was the "major" fork. Monero V will be like Bitcoin Pizza in comparison.
Or that could just be wishful thinking.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I'm still waiting for someone to make bitcoin wood so we can just bring this whole silly thing to an end.

How low do you think XMR will crash after the XMV fork? I'm expecting it to correct back to around 0.020~0.024 btc

XMR has already corrected itself after the v7 fork, there isn't any appetite for "yet another Monero fork"

I'm still looking at $300 by end of month with maybe a brief trip up to $350.

I reckon XMR will continue to outperform BTC - though it might not reach the 400-500 highs just yet.

One week and $8 from here.  Seems legit.

MoneroV - A day late and a dollar short.

Monero V was 2 versions ago ... it's Monero VII now  Grin

Also - 300 by the end of the month?

I'll buy you a pint of beer if it's 300 by the end of the month.

zcash and monero are both raising the price Fast. but I think that in the future, monero will come forward. investors and holders are very strong and faithful.

That is easy choice. 0.034 is way closer. If you look in % is even closer then it seems.

0.0315 to 0.034 is just 8% growth.
0.0315 to 0.024 is 24% fall.

So mathematically should be 3 times more chances that 0.034 comes first.

It really depends on whether Bitcoin keeps rising and the market continues to stay green or not.

Probably because Zcash is being adopted by AirTM. In fact I called this pump a couple of weeks ago.

I assume we'll see $300 by end of day. It's $297 right now.

Nice call and nice steemit post...

Monero has more market exposure but nothing was more anticipated then a zerocash protocol coin, what is it about zk-snarks that makes Zcash dif from monero?

Keeping my post price related  Wink...sorry but I think Zcash will do better than monero price wise this year, with sapling in the works i see big price action with Zcash....not that monero won't do well either.

Hi Monero nutters!

Anyone here think we're going places or should I put my diving cap on?

The $300 resistance is proving hard to penetrate right now...

$300 seems to be as well defended as .03 was.  It can't last, but good effort.

The old trolls returning I note. Bless them!

A bit late for the party, I guess the news travels slower if you're out of date, and not getting wealthier because you hold the right coin

If they work as per theory, zk-snarks offer a larger anonymity set.  Only time will tell if defects of design or implementation, or of covert intent, demolish this merit.

My principal objections to Zcash are the 20% tax, the corporate governance, the statements of Wilcox and Greene regarding responsiveness to subpeona, and the sigint associations of various team members, not zk-snarks.

Zclassic does not suffer from such problems.

It is hard to believe that. There is 250 days left till end of this year.
So 250*7200=1.8 million ZEC will get mined and added to existing 3,774,294 ZEC, what will give us 5,574.294 ZEC or 48% more then right now.
At same time there will be 742k XMR mined and added to existing 15,964,529 XMR, what will give us 16,706.626 XMR or 4.6% more then right now.

Can you notice the difference?
