"The possibility exists that 1 billion in bitcoin could black-swan dive into Monero tomorrow"

Is it tomorrow already?

Given that rational investors are well aware that when maximalists chant, "Decentralized! Censorship resistant!" in their quest to distance themselves from shitcoins, they also point out that if those are the value proposition for a cryptocurrency, then Monero is more valuable.

So maybe tomorrow, tomorrow--

Everyone is asking who is buying Monero now. I am pretty sure I know who is it.

We now see that it is worth keeping a monero only for a long time.
https://bitverzo.com/forecast/monero

What do you think?

Not much.

Prediction is 12% down today, wipe out in a year (under $2). Let's see if it's right today.  It might get lucky - but frankly it looks utter nonsense to me.

In summary:  a waste of a click.

Well - it looks like the daily prediction (for today) on that site was just a little, teeny weeny bit...

TOTALLY FUCKING WRONG

So maybe tomorrow, tomorrow--

To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from trade to trade,
To the last block of monero mined;
And all our yesterdays have lighted shitcoins
The way to dusty death.

So who dies this night? The rest of the shitcoins?   I'd settle for just BCH ;-)

For sure - the camp is falling into disarray and of course the money (their BTC) is running out - at the same time as problems with its bread and butter products.

The centre cannot hold for much longer under these conditions, they need a miracle after the hubris of the whole Bcash debacle.   Jihan is no fool, but the friends he chose do not speak in favour of the wisdom of his judgement.  You cannot beat the market's sentiment that BCH is not worth the price Jihan and his allies have been paying BTC out to try to keep it at.

You nailed it, the Hubris of thinking you can control a global currency was just insane in its inception.

The possibility exists that 1 billion in bitcoin could black-swan dive into Monero tomorrow. It doesn't matter, however, it's bullish for Monero regardless.

This obscene public spectacle with hunderds of people on r/bitcoin pouring over the forensic details of this transaction is a giant advertisement to anyone with two neurons that bitcoin is non-viable as a store of value and currency. This individual is one KYC leak away from the entire world knowing their net worth and identity. I hope they trust every single employee at Bitfinex, Binance, and Bitmex. Their life may depend on it. 1 billion in crypto is nation state level threat model.

Should have used Monero in the first place, then nobody would watch them transfering their coins  Grin

They probably would if Monero would exist back then. But in general this are reasons why Moneor is so superior. Now wehn you deal with Bitcoin you can always be feared you will get Silkroads tainted Bitcoins. You will never have such or similar fear while using Monero.

Jopidopi, but Monero exists long enough by now and i think the ladies and gents know that by now  Grin Wink
