I reckon BTC needs to bust 7300 properly if XMR is to sail over .020

Right now BTC is not quite managing it.

Couldn't buy in the 0.014 zone, now I'm trying not to FOMO in but the price just doesn't want to stop
That's so Monero predictable for September  Shocked Grin Wink

It seems to me that Monero started losing its popularity several months ago but now, it is popular again. I do really love this safe and fast altcoin, and I will be holding it for long.

I don't think Monero lost popularity. It's still one of first peoples know about when they discover cryptos.
And for know still the best anon coin.

the real use case for monero is untraceable transaction, alongside with dash zcash xvg, xmr tx is totally hidden, good for privacy unlike other token like EOS vchain or erc20 token has no real use case

fundamental value of monero : privacy/masked money transaction

but that doesnt mean you should abuse it for "illegal activity", it is for individuals who prefer privacy, yeah you know that

FTFY, also other coins can have usecases without privacy--I get why you need privacy for digital cash, but that doesn't invalidate other ways to approach different problems. Doesn't matter if narrow mindedness comes from political affiliations or ignorance--the result is usually a wall of white noise.

Monero is one of the few anonymous coins that I have and that I keep for a long time. I'm sure that it can grow very much

Monero has never lost interest in people, speculation also has disadvantages. Monero is best if you have  usecase which needs anonymity. If you need transparency for your use dass, you choose another coin.

I prefer by default the first one Grin

Generally Monero holders are very pleased with the current coinMarket coin figures. In any case, given the poor condition of the crypto-currency market, Monero shows very good results when the market stabilizes.

I assume it was most popular on January 7th. http://prntscr.com/kqo6mr
I can also assume that it will lose popularity if tomorrow price drops for 10%.
Huh It's actually true and it's sad that it is... This is just a proof for high percentage of speculative investments from people who are chasing quick money (probably not very educated about what they're investing into).

Everyone is asking who is buying Monero now. I am pretty sure I know who is it.

LOL

I love the smell of the bulls in the morning.

Anyone care to speculate on the next ATH?

I say .045 to .06. Date: mid november

Right now BTC is not quite managing it.

Regardless of BTC value, i'm confident Monero will make a break through soon. If BTC value tanks, Monero will hold USD value and will increase in BTC value. If BTC value rises, Monero will go with the rise and maintain BTC value while increasing in USD value.

I believe Monero has so much potential especially because that the development team is active.

0.02 is an heavy resistance zone, if it pass it, I think XMR will meet new highs.
