Hey guys, So I ordered my first miner and it came today. I ordered an Antminer S1 and a Corsair CX430, I realized I need a power cord to plug the CX430 into the wall and I don't have one. This might sound like a stupid question to most people, so I apologize. Is there a special power cord I need for this wattage, or can I just get a standard one like this (Link Removed)
Thank you guys in advance!

I am not sure that your s1 will work well with the low cost corsair psu cx. You must look for something better like a bronze psu but you can try first to see if it works fine the corsair

I think any power supplies will do the job. Yes, you can just get a standard power cord. The only things that matter is an efficiency and how stable the power supply is. S1 consumes around 350W (correct me if i'm wrong) So, the one you have will do just fine  Smiley

If that CX430 has 2 separate PCIExpress cables you should be ok,each blade uses almost 200 watts,so you don't want to split a PCIE cable.Fires are bad  Wink

I used the CX600,it was only $64 on Newegg & now is a lot cheaper than that on ebay  Roll Eyes

Antminer Product Line, you may not want to select a mid-grade to high-end PSU, the Antminer loves you!  entry-level PSU will work but it may last long or may last for a few months or a few days.

PCI-E cables, please use 1 PCI-E plug from each line.  (1 PCI-E plug from each rail)  If you can, seek 2 rails PSU!!

Good Luck Hashing!

I'm not sure if both the PCI are on the same line or not, I would think not because to me that doesn't make any sense. Does anybody know, it's not the regular CX500, it's the CX500M. I realized one of the PCI  is an 8 pin so I'll have to buy an adapter for it. There's a lot more to bitcoin mining then I though  Smiley
