I'm wondering if there are any fellow bitcoiners out here in the "land of enchantment." I'm in the Albuquerque area and would love to start a local group if anyone is around.  Smiley

There is a miner by the name of curator on http://www.bitcoinmap.com/

That's all I could find for New Mexico.

Try to get some more places on the map!

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.

Hello!

I just wanted to inform you all (and maybe get some feedback) about a site my husband and I just put together. We're New Mexico based, and we're now accepting more than 10 different methods of payment for bitcoin. We're attempting to compete with https://get-bitcoin.com/ and are currently offering a 4.8% to buy using most payment methods and 2.8% to sell vs their 5% to buy and 3% to sell.

Not only that but we're also currently accepting credit cards and PayPal! I bet you're wondering how we prevent fraud... Well there are a few ways but if we told you then the scammers would know too.

We're definitely interested in the local bitcoin community and expanding it, so any feedback is welcome.  We're also currently working on a site redesign!

Thanks,

-Stormy

I live in Albuquerque.

I don't have any bitcoin businesses at the moment. I'm mainly just speculating. I did try and start a bitcoin mining company with some fellow software developers at work, but it ended up falling apart before it got very far.  Although I haven't made any moves toward starting another business yet, I have to admit that I think about selling games for bitcoins from time to time. (I'm an amateur game designer - you can check out some of my stuff at http://legendaryquest.com, if you care about such things.)

I would be interested in getting together with fellow New Mexican bitcoiners to discuss all the exciting possibilities that bitcoin presents.

Feel free to PM me. I'm in ABQ and I'm setting up a small mining operation. Only ~600 MH/S right now but 5 BFL Singles were ordered a few weeks ago Wink.
