so recently my friends told me about Hasprofit. well my friends&i think it's more profit fo a free hashrate for 1 week.
well we think it'll become scam, or just we're too paranaoid~

I guess the best advice I can give is just to be careful where you put your money and think twice, even three times if it helps. It's difficult to say, if I was you I would not invest.

It would cost you .02072BTC to get your answer (0.02 is the minimum you can send them to buy khs and you need to buy at least 12 to hit that), though you could refer people and for each one of them you get 5% of their purchased khs (about .6 at the 12khs min. I think: 12*.05=.6?) which would be 8.3repeating (don't know the symbol for that) or 9 people who spend 0.02072BTC each. But then again the scam trap might not spring right away, so you can make money and then somewhere down the line *SNAP*.

Addition: They make a password for you. Change it asap. Even if they're on the up and up, it's just a good habit to get into(Creating and maintaining your own passwords.)

i just signed up, link in my sig too.... but they certainly do have quite a well developed website.. it is russian so who knows.  one bit advise is make sure u dont give any serious details like a regular password, i have also noted they want phone numbers etc but not necessary on sign up.

And now after more than 2 days has passed, the promo will "end" in a day and 6 hours lol.

I also signed up for the site but it seems a bit risky to me at this point. I recently got an email from them saying that they were having a sale on the Khs and you could use a promo code to get 10% off...but you still have to spend at least 0.02 BTC so I am not convinced it is worth spending for. This could just be a way to get people to spend money sooner and then the site will disappear :/

On a related note, most of the things I have read about cloud mining are that it is not profitable for the person buying/renting the Khs/Ghs. I haven't really looked into it that much (as far as doing my own calculations and whatnot) but I am not convinced that it is worth spending money on currently.

Yeah, Hashprofit is bunk. DON'T invest in them. If someone tries to push an affiliate link on you from them, look at them sideways from now on. However you shake it, you're in the hole. And for cloudmining in general, I hate to say it but it's not profitable alone. Cex lets you trade the ghs back and forth so maybe you make some btc off the buyins and cashouts of people trying cex and moving it's different pairs around. Crypto-coinstrade lets you buy khs for scrypt and x11 and ghs for sha256 while give you 5khs of scrypt mining for 10days but all the profit calculations I've seen for cloudmining show no profit for at least a year WITHOUT taking increasing difficulty into account. Just letting it sit there has a depreciating return. So even though I use cloudmining (I only have khs and ghs at coinstrade) I don't recommend it. Not by itself.

Not sure if it is a hyip, but generally speaking, I would stay away from all sort of cloud mining as you never know whether how long the service will stay alive.

Hashprofit and tradefocus looks the same to me hyip investments that's all. I say stay away from them.
Invest in some other more popular and know cloud mining website.

I just signed up to at least try their free 200 Kh/7 days +a 0.0001 BTC bonus. IMHO, their site doesn't SEEM to 'scam-y', but who knows. I think the amount of free BTC that they're giving away is feasible; if they can create better mining hardware than I can with my money and advertise a lower Kh/s/$ than they can truly make, they profit too, though I have little knowledge of mining whatsoever.

Nonetheless, I forget exactly when I signed up honestly, but their interface says I have 5 days left and my balance is currently 0.00295622. I'll come back to the thread at the end of the trial period, do some calculations, and figure out how long it would take me to get back a minimum investment (0.02)... I'm considering it, but without all the data, I'm definitely not doing something that'll take more than a reasonable period of time to profit on (given the possibility of being scammed as well).
