Yeah, I am pretty sure it's Deepbit's payout address.  Also, the numbers are inflated because receiving back change is counted as a deposit.

ex.

receive 10 - 10 received
send 1, receive 9 change - 19 received
send 1, receive 8 change - 27 received
... and so on.

Yeah, I am pretty sure it's Deepbit's payout address.  Also, the numbers are inflated because receiving back change is counted as a deposit.

ex.

receive 10 - 10 received
send 1, receive 9 change - 19 received
send 1, receive 8 change - 27 received
... and so on.

Thanks. That would explain why they had so many of the 'largest transactions' on Blockchain.info.

The size of the ledger has nothing to do with the balance of the address. You can send transactions back and forth to yourself to get "that problem".

I'm starting to regret un-ignoring you.

The size of the ledger has nothing to do with the balance of the address. You can send transactions back and forth to yourself to get "that problem".

I'm starting to regret un-ignoring you.

Yeah his input never seems to have any value. Just another leech on the bitcoin rollercoaster.

Plus we're only on block 174605, so total BTC mined thus far is 8,730,250.  So yeah I don't think that's Deepbit.
