Got this at a startup: (Not English but hope it helps)

the XML file with your ants has some invalid character in it, did you edit it manually? it says invalid char in the XML. I should add error handling for this

I've used scan for ants, didn't edited manually.

Give a try and and get back when finished.

it could be a special character in one of the names of the ants?

like a '

could you copy and paste your antmines.config file. Be sure to remove any passwords you dont want ppl to see

No special characters. I only use IP-s.

Latest one looks fine, if crashes I'll copy here the config.

The latest one runing since noon. No problem yet.

Let's see what will do until tomorrow.

It works fine with Mobilminer.  Wink

got a new version. this one has significant performance increases, should be almost 50% faster.

I've seen as low as 30ms to refresh and draw ant status to grid, but usually see about 40ms.

25 ants refreshed and displayed in .78 seconds. and 150 in 12 seconds.

this new version should work much better for you with lots of ants. give it a shot lemme know if its better.

DOWNLOAD: SAntViewer.zip v1.1.7

Ok!

Give a try and report back.

Edit:

Small tip sent.  Wink

Edit 2:

Downloaded the newest, checking.

Back again.

1.1.7 Version.

On one of my PC-s it stops refreshing after some time. No error message or something, just simply stops. If I refresh by hand it goes back to normal.

On the other one I usually found it closed after about half a day, I was not able to catch any error messages.

what about in the application event viewer. Can you check there for any .net errors?

mine been running for days without erroring out, I've been checking the memory usages and it was very low.

i'll keep trying to see what I can find, but if you can look back in the application event viewer and see if there was a .net error. that would help so much, i'm sure I could fix it if I had that information.

I also bought an s2 last night, i'll make a few little changes to be able to display the extra data from the s2, like the fans, temps, and what not

changed a few things, removed username and password, they are not needed.

added more room in grids to accommodate s2's extra information.

I upgraded my S3s with the latest firmware antMiner_S320140826.bin from Bitmaintech and
then installed the latest Cgminer 4.6.0 like this:

1. SSH into the S3 and login
2. Issue the following commands sequentially.
  a) cd /usr/bin
  b) mv cgminer cgminer.bak
  c) wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s3/4.6.0-140908/cgminer
  d) chmod +x cgminer
  e) /etc/init.d/cgminer restart

The miners are no longer seen by Ant Viewer. Even with latest version 1.18

Hope you are able to have a look at why S3s are no longer visible. Must be a change to the API in CGminer

My S1s are still showing, just the S3s since upgrade to CGminer 4.6.0.

Experienced the same with the shipped versions of firmware using 4.60 so I'm pretty certain it is CGminer that is the issue.

Are you sure that the s3 still have API access enabled? Check to make sure at least --api-listen --api-network is used

I used the latest API docs for cgminer when I made the app

I've got --api-listen --api-allow W:192.168.1.0/24,W:127.0.0.1

I added in --api-network on one of the S3s and no difference.

They all show as Dead.

However they are all visible in Awesome Miner as that's what the --api-allow is for so I can add/remove/switch pools on the fly.
