who owns ckpool?
i read on their website that its now owned by Bitmain?
Lol that's one of the funniest posts this year.

Yes and i was very upset about it, but i dont know how come when i opened that website home page it displayed that message of acquiring my bitmain and the celeberation baloons were played, i wish i could have saved the screenshot.

Or maybe that was some phishing site?

In end i am happy that its still independent pool and not acquired by ....Bitmain

lol, what the hell kind of websites are you looking at?

Port 4334.

Quote from: solo.ckpool.org
If you use an incompatible rental service that refuses to work on port 3333 try the following (only accepts usernames without worker extensions):

  • solo.ckpool.org:4334

Create a pool in your Nicehash account with the following details:

Pool: solo.ckpool.org
Port: 4334
Username: <yourBTCaddress>
Password: x --suggest-diff 1000000

next...

Rent hash from US sellers/marketplace and point in to the pool created above.

I have about an hour left in my rental with no luck.

Its going to be hard explaining to the wife where did the family Volvo go....   Huh

Either you've renamed 2 of your workers recently or someone is mining to your address

Had some bitcoin daemon instability which took the pool with it, sorry about that. Pool has been restarted.

recently pointed some of my older cards at this solo pool, figured it would be more fun than watching a 200W GPU make $00.02 a day. However I am not able to monitor my stats. I go to http://solo.ckpool.org/users/3L6o9aXs4fWtaUaFArYiXYG1TmVisDTDXM and I just get a 404.

Any help would be appreciated, id hate to think i made a mistake and haven't actually been mining for the last week.

Because making 0 per decade is more fun than 2 cents per day?  Roll Eyes

yep, pretty much. Of course one of the devices im using is a Gridseed 5chip, which i doubt would even make 2 cents a decade anymore. I just figured since I have better hardware running, that actually makes dollars per day, that i would take everything in the single digits cents and under and point it at some solo mining just to see what happens.

There's a good chance that he IS mining, but hasn't produced even one single share which shows how fucking futile what he's doing is.
