As an update on this, the IRC server that runs altcoinweb is run kinda funky. IRC user sm00th0perat0r tested out the IRC tip bot on Freenode and it worked fine. He sent some logs to the IRC server admin but there has been no response.

BCT user KeyserSozeMC says he will take a look into it.

There's a lot of coins to be bought right now. There are no bots pushing price down, which is a miracle

I know, but I meant that all is ICO's and/or pump and dump schemes in general. I like JBS as well, but it will be very hard to achieve something significant, because most of the people involved in cryptos are either whales or sheeps (in most cases). Best of luck to all honest devs like jyap tho.

New Web Site Launched For Jumbucks - getjumbucks.com

Jumbucks is proud to announce the unveiling of its new website getjumbucks.com.

When I envisioned the rebranding for Jumbucks I felt that the coin needed a new website to appeal to a wider audience.  I worked with and commissioned @goldminer333 who runs the web site GOLDMINER.graphics to create a new web site which was more professional looking and generally more approachable.  He has previously made the web sites for the cryptocurrencies Neos, Viacoin and Razor so I knew that working with him would be an ideal fit.  I also worked with @Sicarious_ who runs the service cryptocurrencyeditor.com for some of the content.

I am really happy with how the web site came out as it captures the aesthetic for the market that Jumbucks should appeal to.

A bonus feature is that the web site comes with 2 themes which automatically adjust based on your time of day.  A day theme and a night theme.  You can also pick a permanent theme by using the theme switcher buttons.

A big thanks goes to the individuals I have asked for feedback regarding the web site.

Lastly, the web site coinmarketscoin.com will remain.  I will be using this more as an Alpha and Beta testing site.

IRC, Facebook page and IRC Tip Bot


As Jumbucks has gone through the rebranding process and matured as a coin it has become aware that it requires dedicated coin and community features outside of the #coinmarkets IRC channel from which it was borne.  Here are some updates.


1. Dedicated IRC channel

I have started a dedicated IRC channel which is #jumbucks on Freenode.

You can connect directly to the channel via a browser IRC client:

If you intend to be a regular in the channel, you are encouraged to register your nick with Freenode.  The ensures that no one can impersonate your identity on IRC.

3. IRC Tip Bot

sm00th0perat0r is working on the JBS IRC tip bot. It's not quite ready yet but should be soon.

Also thank you to sm00th0perat0r for his efforts on trying to get the tip bot working on the altcoinweb server.  Unfortunately some commands such as ACC wasn't available on altcoinweb which prevented it from being set up.

Tip bots are great and help distribute the coin to new people.  It also helps the engagement of the channel.
