I think third is the most reasonable one, either way i haven't pushed any of these transactions and will never do that as this is a new service already damned to die.

Well, OP can change the way it works slightly.
Instead of publishing the daily "key", he can publish the sha256(date, key, some random characters) daily.

For example, he can publish the hash "9b7c5a94b1841d1eb860bed4bb1692857b99a46c7d578c9441292dea4e833ea6" today, reveal the message "Sept 2, 0e53f, je%391" tomorrow and then send the payment out.
