No POD no pool..  Easy as that..  Certainly when you are a newbie dev

I wish everyone would do PoD just to shut people up who keep asking for it.  But even if they do PoD odds are they are lying about who they are so what good is PoD?  You think a bunch of scammers who steel from everyone in crypotland can't make up some bullshit persona?

Especially you should require pod as you have been gotten hacked by downloading a malicious wallet from a non pod dev

It was hacked but not by some dev with a malware wallet.  I run all wallets in a VM and never post or log in anything from the VM.  I assume I was hacked because of a weak password.

Don't give people a false sense of security. The biggest scams of the past month were all full member devs. Do your own research, stay within your means, take proper precautions.

I want proof of pool op and proof of exchange a lot more than I want proof of dev.

Ruble was forked from Halcyon, although I am not its developer.

So who are you and your team?

Will you consider doing PoD and when ?

So i will leave here as the dev ignoring the PoD questions or you guys will prove me FUDDER.

Miners and Investors please note - This newbie dev is not willing to do PoD. Highly suspicious and possibly turn into a scam
I do not think that newbie dev is the problem Look at XCN Cryptonite Hero Member DEV and new algo not succeed
Look at BitpopCoin Legendary Member DEV not succeed
Look at Crystal Coin Full Member DEV but scam coin
Look at Halcyon newbie DEV

You can yell scam about every new coin release and you will be right about 95% of the time. Odds are this is just another shitcoin scam like the rest.  I just want to know what PoD does to stop scammers?  Can anyone explain to me how CA doing PoD stops a person from making up a credible looking fake persona that gets them a 4/5 rating on PoD?

Yes darkchain ended up being a scam. It happens from time to time in this business. Most people understand that. I only download wallets in instances and I never keep wallets lying around. So it had zero impact on me. Take proper precautions and you have nothing to fear but fud itself. I want POP and POE. I can fully protect myself from rogue developers. I cannot do the same from rogue pool op or exchange admins.

If you go to casino then will you expect fair rules of the game or unfair or scammed rules?. Even in gamble the rules of the game should be fair.

The only problem in the crypto is a few group of developers are repetitively releasing coins  and scamming. These guys have exploited the "privacy" and "deregulation" so much that trust is lost. And this is the main reason for demanding PoD from every developer.

They were bought Full Member Accounts, no serious Accounts, do your homework.

Proof of Pool op ? Lol.. You know how long Suprnova is around ? There are some "verified" pools, so i really don't think THAT is a problem and Exchanges are also some well known around so this is also not a problem, or have you been scammed by a pool running away with your coins and/or an exchange ? Are exchanges and pools uploading viruses ?

My personal favorite so far about this wallet is that there is no addnode flag in the debug window of QT!

Update:
Nor is it possible to mine with the wallet itself since there is no setgenerate flag either!

Tell me about a PoD verified coin that was a scam/trojan/virus etc.

Oc you can't answer a question with a question.  So I will ask again.  Can anyone explain how PoD will stop a scammer?  They can lie to CA about who they are.  If they are scammers what would stop them?  I would like to see a PoD system in play that works.  I just question the current system that some people seem to be putting so much faith into.  The current PoD system doesn't stop a scammer from do his scamming.

I have already been there and read that.  So you can't answer my question then.  Getting a 4/5 rating is a piece of cake.  With a small bit of work a person can fake a 5/5 rating also.  These are scammers we are talking about guys.  They can fake shit with ease.  So does anyone have any idea on a system for PoD that could work since the current system is useless?

Again for you, ugethit:

These scams/trojan/viruses only work because members like you download and mine every shit. Thats why they continue to scam as they have users which can be scammed.

If the users/pools/community adds another step of safety between the miners and the coins - POD - the scammers have to got this step also, makeing it harder for them to scam the users and getting to the funds of the users.. At some point, the work of POD, finding a decent (legit) pool etc. is simply too hard compared to the amount of coins they can scam and they will stop of think about a new way.

But if anyone is just continuing presenting their butt and mining every shit .. The scammers will continue playing with your butt and your pockets ^^

Why is that so hard to understand ?
