Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It's called The World Tomorrow. I'm not sure if connecting Bitcoin with Wikileaks is wise, but it seems appropriate.

When I wanted to donate and couldn't, I was furious and found out about Bitcoin. I've been a huge fan ever since.

Why is it not wise?
Many (including Sirius and Satoshi) have expressed trepidation with regards to associating Bitcoin with Wikileaks or any other political enterprise. OTOH, since when was doing the right thing always wise?

I think Bitcoins are valuable for everyone. Be it legal or illegal, considered good by the majority or considered bad by the majority. So I think connecting everything and everyone with Bitcoin is beneficial to Bitcoin. Of course you're not obligated to do it, just don't stop others Smiley
