Over the holiday weekend, a hacker reportedly cracked into the personal iCloud accounts of dozens of female celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence (pictured above), and posted naked photos of them online. He allegedly did it by exploiting a bug in the “Find my iPhone” app, then randomly generated passwords until he found the right one for each celeb. In addition to Lawrence, the star of The Hunger Games, the hacker also reportedly targeted Glee actress Lea Michele and model Kate Upton.

I want to know how he actually found the phones of the specific celebs. Were they all registered in their own names? It's interesting that the hacker was apparently 'doxxed' pretty quick. I wonder if they found any info using his wallet address that he posted.

It is better to burn out, than to fade away.

Sounds like a inside job to increase publicity for the next installment of Hunger Games... Now she has to survive the fact that millions of people have seen her {NSFW} parts.  Grin

There are technology out there, to do almost anything these days, why not a device, that sniffs out cellphone numbers, when you are in close proximity to someone. Would be a great marketing tool.

Once again BTC the "currency" are being blamed for this. {It's a payment method.. like anything else... get over it... FIAT and credit cards are being used daily, to extort money out of people}

Phew!!!!
