Don't understand what are you talking about. That address was funded in February this year, game was played much earlier. Current players had no access to anything special, discussion on LetsTalkBitcoin forum is quiet for some time.

@itod

Apparently you didn't get the memo.... I see you're still stuck on level 1.

Here's where the other players are at....

The final image to solve the puzzle can be accessed at the end of the trail.  The 4.87 BTC is still up for grabs...

[EDIT]

The guys at LTB worked with the creators of the puzzle to create the scoreboard and helped implement the Token Controlled Access (TCA) in order to eliminate "sniping" and enable bonus automated puzzle payouts and tokens.  The creators of the puzzle never intended for this to be a competition between forums, they just wanted to create a new experience for the players using new Bitcoin related technology.

using Bitcoin 2.0 technology.

Oh, God, not this thing again. Bitcoin is at version 0.10. There's not even Bitcoin 1.0 planned, let alone 2.0. What you refer to as “Bitcoin 2.0” is actually unrelated technologies that use Bitcoin but ARE NOT BITCOIN.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.

I apologize, nor did I ever intend for my response to be an argument of semantics.  Sorry you feel this is unrelated, but I feel platforms built on top of the Bitcoin protocol are related.  If this must be discussed further please DM me. Cheers!  Smiley Smiley Tongue Tongue

I had no idea that we are level-graded. Can you please point me where can I find more info about that level system?

The guys at LTB worked with the creators of the puzzle to create the scoreboard and helped implement the Token Controlled Access (TCA) in order to eliminate "sniping" and enable bonus automated puzzle payouts and tokens.  The creators of the puzzle never intended for this to be a competition between forums, they just wanted to create a new experience for the players using new Bitcoin related technology.

There's no competition between forums, this forum is superior in every way to amateurish LTB one. You can not even format text there to monospaced font, we had real trouble presenting basic stuff there in readable manner. Not to mention more advanced forum features that are available here bit nowhere to be found on LTB. The only reason people even used that forum is because it was forced upon us buy ARG creator, and that was big mistake because LTB was so unusable it in essence killed the puzzle.

What is done is done, no point in whining about that decision, but it would be nice if someone told us about ""level" system, because if I knew I'm on a lower level then other's and that I could still participate in the puzzle maybe I would gladly do it, this way I was thinking it was over some time ago.

I believe the idea was never to force the players to use the LTB forum as the means for sharing information about the puzzle, but instead control the flow of information to the players.  These advanced features like Token Controlled Access are not available on any other forum unfortunately.  It allowed players who were dedicated to solving the puzzle a step up on people just sitting and waiting for the final step to become available to the public.  Where the players congregated and discussed is up to the players themselves.  It's unfortunate that so many players were put off by this... lesson learned.

Well the final step of the puzzle is here, via @coin_artist's twitter account... Goodluck everyone! This one looks tough!

Apparently everything you need to win the ~5BTC prize is contained within this image. #FML

Already analysed the image, verified hashes, made keys out of it, put it through an hex edit program... Nothing so far.
