I think it sounds a little low personally if any research is involved.  If research is involved i would say it will cost more.  If your able to post in services you will have better luck finding someone.

Depends on the quality of service you want lol, your price may get a grad student in literature however for 1/4 you may get a highschool student who's just bored but has bad grammar.

I myself would say that 0.01 BTC is enough but to be honest it really depends on the quality you are looking for and the quality that is provided from the person you hire. I would ask in the services section when you are able to and see if you can get some interest from those who are looking to be hired but I personally would not say anyone would have a problem with 0.01 BTC.

Same type of thing I was thinking.  Think of it like an auction and the lowest bidder wins.  You may not get very good quality if the price too low however.  There are many similar type services that have been offered here in the past to help you get an idea of what a fair price would be.  Best of luck finding someone to fill the position.

Instead of taking the lowest bidder, he could check the post history of all the bidders first and pick one that can write good English, has some understanding in sports gambling and offer an acceptable price.

All depends on the quality of writing you want, 0.01 btc isn't a large amount so I wouldn't be expecting any professional reviews.

I think you misunderstood, not 400 sports articles, just 400 words about a sports article. 400 words isn't that much so I would also say 0.01 BTC is well paid

The rates are normally done in $/word i.e. $0.02/word.

People offering a simple Btc/word would make no sense.

You'll find people here that write for $0.01/word but there is a reason, their articles require a lot of work etc... Something like $12/500 words is a fairly average price here.
